I absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere. We went in on a Saturday evening looking for something to eat late. While it was crowded and we didn't have a reservation, we were still accommodated and the food was excellent. We had the crab Fried Rice, Oysters and some other appetizers and cocktails and it was all excellent including the service. The atmosphere is a total Vibe. The music was great. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next day for brunch. The brunch menu was a tad bit different but great options. I had the crab cake Benedict and we had a peach cobbler bread pudding it was SO Good. The chef is superb?? his name was Sam I believe, he even came out and greeted us the night before. It was Sunday, Mimosas, a live DJ the music was my kind of flow, good food and again good vibes. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. If you are in DC, this is definitely a spot to check out. It is black owned, and I know it will be my spot every time I visit.Vegetarian options: The vegan egg rolls were delicious they had several other options as well I didn't feel left out.Dietary restrictions: My friend has a cheese allergy is sprinkled on the Oysters but it wasn't indicated on the menu. Things like fish, dairy etc common food allergies should be listed on menu items. But the menu is great I must addParking: We walked from our hotel. There is an Omni Hotel right across the street. All I saw was street parking which was full not sure if it offers any other parking accommodations

I really like this restaurant. It was my first time here for brunch. The food and service was great! We started out with the fried deviled eggs. I highly recommend for an appetizer. My entree was the Woodley Park Breakfast Platter. It was delicious. Great music, great customer service. You need to add this place to your list!.

The resturant is definitely not giving what tik tok said it was giving. PARKING Was expensive, but cool at the hotel.Restaurant is super small, music is on level 2. The food was very mediocre. We had oysters and drinks.. they make you pay a $40 deposit. We came on a Saturday, no dj...AND NO WINGS!!..Our waiter india was nice...the bar chairs are low.We felt very awkward, left and went to another Restaurant in the city..Its a never again 4 me...

I ordered the lobster and crab scampi, i did not like it and did not eat it and wanted to get a refund and they would not allow me to get a refund so i had to pay for something i did not eat. that is ridiculous. trying to compensate me with sides that i dont want is not okay either.

The food was pretty good for the most part. The service was slow in the beginning. We had an event here, and I just think they were not prepared for such a big crowd. I will come back for a very early dinner so that I can get fast service throughout my visit.

From the time we entered the establishment we were very well taken care of. Our waiter Motoma exercised attention and hospitality the entire night. The blackened salmon, rib-eye, and brussel sprouts were my favorites. All around a wonderful experience.

We had a 2:30 reservation for brunch and checked in with the host outside. He informed us that there will be about a 15 minute wait, which we questioned because we had a reservation. We were told that a reservation saves you a seat but does not guarantee that time. Weird. We also had to sit outside in 40 degree weather because they do not have an indoor waiting area. Several other parties also waited outside and expressed that the “reservation” policy was odd. We finally got seated at 3:03pm. We sat at a table in the back and it is drafty( which was even worse after freezing outside for 30+ minutes). The interior of the restaurant is very nicely decorated and the ambiance was nice. Music was a little too loud, most people were yelling across their tables, BUT it's Sunday Brunch in DC so I get it. Our server did take our order shortly after we were seated. We knew about the 90 minute time limit so we wanted to place our order immediately. We were not offered water when we sat down and our glasses were dirty. After about 25 more minutes, my friend actually ended up taking the dirty glasses to the bar herself and asking for new ones plus water. The manager(?) did come over after this and asked had we been helped and ended up bringing our drinks and mimosas out himself. The drinks were perfect, sweet but strong, and we were drinking on empty stomachs. The food finally came out and mine was delicious. My friend had the steak and eggs and her food was cold and had to be sent back. When it came out the second time, they forgot to add cheese to her eggs. Overall, the food and drinks are really good, but the service is lacking. Enforcing a 90 minute max on seating but then taking 30 minutes to bring out water and drinks and then another 30 for food is unfair. Plus $20 per person to reserve and an automatic 22% service fee. We would have rather tipped our server on our own because she deserved it, the rest of the establishment not so much. I love brunch, but will not be back.
