Was in town for a Capitals game and stopped in for drinks and dessert before the doors opened at the arena. We asked two employees if they had desserts on the menu and we were told yes by both. Poor menu items; very costly for types of food; disappointing menu; too much food jacks up prices and poor presentation. Not good to eat overall.
I was really excited to come here before an event in DC yesterday but the experience was underwhelming and a waste of $58. Guy Fieri's DC Kitchen + Bar offers fantastic drinks, with standout options like the long island and Tito's and cranberry. The food, especially the Trash Can Nachos and blackened brussel sprouts, receives high praise for its quality—some calling them ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS with a perfect balance of ingredients. The ambiance is enjoyable with games, sports betting, and a diverse crowd, featuring Caps jerseys and March Madness on all TVs. The atmosphere is like a sports bar—not too loud, allowing easy conversation. Service is sometimes quick, with beers and food arriving promptly, and staff can be very affectionate and attentive. However, delays and disorganization still occur. The venue has potential but needs better management to improve the overall experience.
