2 Asian workers and security working on 1/10/2024 around 6:30 were rude and racist. My friends and I always come here after events and love the two Ethiopian man and woman that work here however. On 1/10/2024 I sat down to wait for a friend who was parking and adamantly wanted ice cream. Again we always frequent this Haagen Dazs. I sat down to wait for them as they would be in in a few short minutes. While I was waiting the security officer who was sitting at a table in front of me told me that to sit I would need to purchase something. I told him I was waiting for my friend who would be in shortly. He turned and continued on his phone. Then, the Asian worker in the Haagen Dazs yelled to me that for me to sit there I needed to order something. I told her that my friend would be ordering in a few short minutes when they arrived. She abruptly told me no and that I needed to get up. I said okay got up and stood. Then walks over a Caucasian woman and sits down. The security guard says nothing to her. The Asian worker yells at the woman that in order to sit, she needed to purchase something. The Caucasian woman says that she's waiting for a friend (the exact same thing I said. The Asian woman says okay and proceeds to allow her to sit. Amazed at the interaction I then sit down again, only for the security guard to then tell me again that I needed to order something to sit, as he still at this point says absolutely nothing to the Caucasian woman. I have never had such blatant racism happen and it is very disheartening as I have grown up coming into this establishment and has been a fond memory of mine. Hopefully others will have a better story to tell about this business but I unfortunately cannot recommend to anyone.

As always, Häagen-Dazs delivers on their delicious ice cream. It's a little expensive, but if you're looking for a treat, it's always worth it.

Even though it was 40 degrees out, I can't say no to a good milkshake. Grabbed a shake before a Capitals game. I keep it simple with vanilla but there are other options and selections to choose from. In terms of shakes, it's a good one. Good consistency and not too thick, so you can enjoy it without having to get a spoon.

We love the Smoothies here!My favorite is Pomegranate Berry and my husband likes little khatta/sour flavored so he loves Wildberry!

There isn’t much seating inside but the ice cream is good. The prices are different from what I found online so I took a picture.

Place was like hidden. We love this ice cream so searched for the store for almost 10 mins as we are not familar with this area. It was worth though :)

I wanted to puke when I saw the price. Then the top screen options STARTED at 20% and went up from there.

After a movie eat Regal we stopped here for some sweet treats. I gave it 3 stars because I personally feel like there should be more flavors, the ones there are basic that you can get out the store. I would think a stand alone store would have the exotic flavors or flavors that are seasonal etc... Customer service was average. Boutique was inside/ outside the Verizon Center ( how I know it)
