Love love love this place! Great fresh seafood, great outside view and great Server.
The peel & eat shrimp was soooo good! It kind of taste like the shrimp that comes in crab boils. Which usually at a restaurant I’m use to them just steaming the shrimp with old bay. But this was like buttery and delicious!
Great service.
High energy.
Good music selection
It was the perfect stop for me and my husband.
Had a great experience at Hank’s Oysters. The customer service was amazing, the food and drinks came out really quickly and they were excellent. We had the crab cake Benedict with perfectly poached eggs, French toast with fried chicken and fried oysters.
Nice area and vibe, but the grill banzina fish was amazing I mean I was sopping up the juice with whatever I could get including the oyster crackers 😂
We had a great dinner at Hank’s Oyster Bar. Ronny was our server. He was so friendly, he explained menu items to us, and was very attentive. We ordered the seafood plateau and it was perfect. It was chilled, fresh, and completely delicious. The menu offers a variety of seafood.
If you're looking for warm draft, JV service this place is a must. Overwhelmed with average attendance.
Spent about $150 including tip for three. Food was mediocre, lobster bisque was very salty, lobster roll was the worst roll I've ever had. Servers are not friendly, attentive, and they ask 20 or 25 or 30 percent tips at the end.
This is one of the most inviting restaurants on the Wharf. I live Maryland and if I make a trip to the Wharf Hank's is definitely one of my first stops.
I got the grilled octopus 🐙 and lost it in the middle of the restaurant. I just quit my job and I'm so excited to just live my life. Sure I'm unemployed but I have $22 plus tip. Let's Goooo!!!

We had a fantastic brunch at Hank's Oyster Bar at the Wharf yesterday! The food was absolutely delicious – the lobster omelette and crab cake benedict were standout dishes, and the apple spinach salad was a delightful surprise. The menu offers something for everyone, and it’s definitely a spot I’d love to revisit, especially with a group – it has a great vibe for gathering with friends.
The only downside was that the service was a bit slow, and the outdoor seating was covered, making it feel stuffy and warm on an otherwise beautiful sunny day. Despite that, the food more than made up for it, and I’m looking forward to coming back again!

Overall - great experience, nothing super special, wouldn’t go here for a special ocarina, but just a casual dinner would do! Food was great! 💙

We had a great time at Hank's Oyster Bar on our recent trip to D.C. The food was excellent, as was the service. The interior is homey and warm.

I get it, it's downtown, but the food and drinks were not worth the price.
