My guest from Australia LOVED this place. She tried a crabcake for the first time. The ambiance and decor were just what she wanted from a "Washington restaurant." We had a great time, and our server was just the right amount of attentive. Would go there again, and Highly Recommend.
Everything was great but the kitchen was EXTREMELY slow. Waited an hour for our lunch. Our server was very nice and extremely apologetic. We felt badl for him because he was embarassed.
We were repeat customers (we typically visit after a play or concert at the Folger Library). Although the food was good as always (I order the steak salad), the service and noise left something to be desired. It took nearly 40 minutes for the food to arrive (we were there on Saturday about 4 p.m., so not the busiest time).
