Many come for the sweet potato pie (me included), but the fresh meals are also delicious. The fried chicken was the best I’ve had in a long time—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The staff are great too.
The food here was delicious. I was visiting out of town with my mother. She is a very picky eater and she even enjoyed it. I had the fried chicken Mac and cheese and dressing with gravy. 🔥🔥It was delicious. 10/10 definitely recommend. I will be back when I visit DC again. I'm only 2 hours away lol
This definitely not my momma’s soul food..Don’t let the pictures fool you..Mac and cheese was NOT GOOD the collard greens definitely weren’t cut and prepared properly had literally stalks and stems it was a rushed job so greens in garbage it was literally inedible next the fried whittng was seasoned great but unfortunately the fish was so dry it was inedible next the beef ribs where tasty but was it the sauce that carried them???? The sweet potatoes delicious so I ate ribs...
