As much as it pains me to do this review, I feel compelled... My bother and I came here after church on a Sunday morning in anticipation of a good breakfast/ brunch meal. I asked the bartender/waiter what did he recommend...he named Harry's platter among other options. I decided on the platter with chicken sausage, grits, eggs, and a waffle. When my food came out I noticed right away ( without tasting) that my sausages were microwaved ,and as fate would have it, they were and rubbery .Then I tried the waffle and it had be reheated in the microwave as well and it was chewy...smh At the recommendation of the waiter, I got the grits instead of the potatoes and the grits were actually good. They serve the grits with a cream sauce on top . I assume it was the sauce used for their Shrimp and Grits. Tasty nonetheless! As a side note, stop serving your customers lemon slices on napkins. Invest in some little plastics cups. Consequently my meal was taken off of the bill . Sadly, I will not be back . There are just too many restaurants in the DMV that I desire to try. However, I hope some minor adjustments are made and that your business experiences great success, cheers!!

This is a disappointing review for me. The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. This is a 3 star because there was a 10% service fee and a 10% processing fee. I get a processing fee, but processing fees are more like 3% than 10%. And none of the service fee actually goes to the server. Which means I needed to tip another 20% for the server, effectively making me spend an additional 40% on my total bill. I loved the space, the food, and the service but I won’t be back.

Our server had long hair extensions to her bottom legs. Her hair was not tied up, just swinging. The bar area looked like a storage area. The bathroom was old and dated… one bathroom and stall the staff and customers.

Place is operating as if it will soon be out of business. Food, if they actually have what is on the menu, is not very good. I heard the fries are good. They ran out of a very common canned soda and the place was empty on a Saturday afternoon. Better options are available.

Comfortable setting. We had the seafood fried rice, fried cauliflower, salmon bites and crab slides. Clearly we wanted to try different things and everything was great! Melvin, the bartender served phenomenal drinks. The girls and I will be back!

Overall the experience was… ok… . I saw great reviews so we opted to try them.I got shrimp and grits with added salmon. Shrimp and Salmon very tasty grits were not great and extremely runny almost ended up as more of a soup. Had a side of cheese eggs scrambled which were good.My husband had steak and eggs . He asked for medium and they came well done. He mostly liked his food though he did mention the potatoes were still a little cold.Son had chicken and waffles they did give options for thighs or wings I’d recommend asking for thighs as wings were just small wingettesServer was friendly but not the most knowledgeable (He did his best though and was apologetic for mistakes) .The provide infused water for the initial cup and then regular water afterwards. One of my party did mention the thought that they should give option when serving for those who don’t like infused.I’ll come back again to experience the buffet and make full judgement. Wasn’t horrible just a bit underwhelming.
Kid-friendliness: No kids menu but I still found something on the menu for my 10year old

Stopped by for Happy Hour with friends.. the bartender was late, but the person working tried to help out by getting us something easy from the bar.The service was extremely slow and the bartender that did show up was pretty disengaged. In the course of 70 minutes, I was able to have one drink based on service speed and there were five people there. I don’t know that I would go back.

The atmosphere is calming and social, I love it. The menu has a variety of options but not to many that u stop looking after 30 items. The food was fabulous, hot in temp and presentation was delightful to see. The taste was soooo delicious and full of flavor. PERFECTION IS ALL I CAN SAY. I got chicken n waffles also shrimp n grits, omg is was on point. I asked for a beer drink that was featured on the menu and the bar tender told me he didn't have all his ingredients yet . I was a little disappointed, so , I said make me a mocktail. The bartenders responds what do u like I said something refreshing and it was hit outside that day. The mocktail was refreshing with mango ginger beer and some other fruit and flavors it was one of the best drinks I ever had. THANK UU HAPPY CAMPER. I've been back twice
