This place is good sometimes and horrible sometimes. The first time I went in they got my order wrong. Every server acts like they don’t want to be here. No enthusiasm at all and quick to get back on there phone. One waiter was even walking around cleaning tables with one hand and the phone in the other staring at the phone. The Hispanic cook lady is the only reason I come back she is pleasant, hard working and Always kind. She’s always Intentive to my needs and enthusiastic. Beside the front people treating the dining area like it’s their living room and acting like they don’t want to be there. The food is good.

Amazing spot! I was taking class at the Capoeira Spot and found this place nearby during my lunch break. The owner was working the bar with two other individuals and was super kind! The food was delicious. Some of the best grits I’ve had. The atmosphere is so calming. I recommend coming here!

This restaurant was a 10 out of 10. Our waitress Aniyah (sorry if that’s wrong) was sweet. She gave us shot for my bday. The crab stuffed salmon was delicious. The seafood rice could have been a dish by itself. To top it off, we met a local who is a regular that bought us a drink on our way out..

Arrived at 9:25. Your restaurant is advertised to be open at 9:00. Lights were off, door was locked. Punctuality is important, we went 20 minutes out of our way to try this restaurant on our 15 hour roadtrip. Lost time and got no food.
Food is always good! Breakfast time is my favorite time to go. The Salmon Sammy is a must try.

The service and vibe were fine, but that’s where the positives end. The drinks were disappointing across the board—flat, unbalanced, and not enjoyable. What really threw us off, though, was the water. It tasted awful, like something was seriously wrong with the plumbing or filtration. That alone was enough to make us question the place, and after trying a couple of cocktails, we decided not to risk ordering any food. If they can’t get the basics right, it doesn’t inspire much confidence in the rest of the menu.
20% service charge that does NOT go to the servers, owners skimming off the top and screwing their servers out of tips.
Been here before. Food is great. Tried to go again. Someone answers the phone then hangs up. I call back multiple times no answer. Simply wanted to make a reservation since it wasn’t available on their site.
The food and service was great. I would definitely visit again. A good neighborhood spot for home cooked breakfast

My first time at His&Hers. I went for my birthday brunch. It was nice, clean and the food was delicious. The food was piping hot (temperature). The host was pleasant and the sever was nice too. I will be back...hopefully the lamp chops will be available 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

As much as it pains me to do this review, I feel compelled...
My bother and I came here after church on a Sunday morning in anticipation of a good breakfast/ brunch meal.
I asked the bartender/waiter what did he recommend...he named Harry's platter among other options.
I decided on the platter with chicken sausage, grits, eggs, and a waffle.
When my food came out I noticed right away ( without tasting) that my sausages were microwaved ,and as fate would have it, they were and rubbery .Then I tried the waffle and it had be reheated in the microwave as well and it was chewy...smh
At the recommendation of the waiter, I got the grits instead of the potatoes and the grits were actually good. They serve the grits with a cream sauce on top . I assume it was the sauce used for their Shrimp and Grits. Tasty nonetheless! As a side note, stop serving your customers lemon slices on napkins. Invest in some little plastics cups.
Consequently my meal was taken off of the bill .
Sadly, I will not be back . There are just too many restaurants in the DMV that I desire to try.
However, I hope some minor adjustments are made and that your business experiences great success, cheers!!

This is a disappointing review for me. The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. This is a 3 star because there was a 10% service fee and a 10% processing fee. I get a processing fee, but processing fees are more like 3% than 10%. And none of the service fee actually goes to the server. Which means I needed to tip another 20% for the server, effectively making me spend an additional 40% on my total bill. I loved the space, the food, and the service but I won’t be back.
