Hitching Post Restaurant Reviews
I had the pleasure of dining at The Hitching Post DC. I ordered the grilled lamb chops, mac & cheese, collard greens. The lamb chops are in my top 2 of the best I've ever tasted. I don't normally order mac & cheese when I go out to a restaurant, but this order was perfect as well. The collard greens could use a little vinegar, however, they were still delicious. I will definitely dine there in the near future. The lemon cake had was flavorful, moist and delicious, too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The chicken soo good I give this spot a 10 I just had the chicken visiting from Charlotte NC
The food atmosphere was so good I love Gina the bartender she was so funny definitely coming back 😍😍😍😍

The Hitching Post Restaurant is a long-standing establishment that has been serving the community since 1967. This black-owned business offers a delightful dining experience, whether it's for a Sunday brunch or a celebratory dinner. The restaurant is known for its delicious food, including popular dishes like fried and blackened catfish, lamb chops, chicken, and crab cakes, all accompanied by tasty sides such as potato salad, collard greens, and cornbread. The staff is attentive, and the atmosphere is pleasant, with soothing music playing in the background. Customers often leave with leftovers, as the portion sizes are generous, and the drinks are delectable.
