This is the sample of mac and cheese I was given by the restaurant after asking to return the mac and cheese due to no cheese. I don't understand the current ratings or the past review. 2/22/25 pictures shows what they think mac and cheese is.

Food is always good. If you are in NE DC and want some good barbecue, check them out.

Parking: Small lot, you might have to park in the hotel beside them.

I ordered 6 barbecue chicken wings with Mac & cheese and potatoe salad. The barbecue chicken was nasty it tasted like cardboard the Mac & cheese had no taste no cheese watery and the potatoe salad was horrible it only had green peppers in it and that was watery. Never again for me.

Parking: The parking lot is small however not too much cars come to eat. So you will have plenty of parking

This use to be the spot when you want a taste for bbq. They fall off now when I tell you Mac and cheese is so not it and the greens have no taste to it. The chicken was so hard and dry. Never again.

Parking: First come serve parking lol. It’s not crowded no more ,but it’s tiny.

Kid-friendliness: Kids can come in it’s just chicken and ribs lol

The food was ok but lacks the standard of prior years. I had the Red beans and rice and they were to dry for my taste. I prefer more sauce with the beans. I also like my bbq sauce on the meat and they seemed to ration out a drizzle which was not enough to enhance the flavor of the bbq.

Messed up the food order (there was only one other person waiting). Got the chicken and it was dry. The ribs were dry as well but also was hard only the ends of it were good. Mac and cheese was delicious. However not so clean…

The food was awful. Came here because we smelled the BBQ from our hotel across the street. I was totally disappointed. Never again. Take me back home to the South where the real BBQ is. Geeeesh!

I've been going to Hogs on the Hill for years. I always get the Wild Combo and it comes with pulled pork, minced beef, ribs, chicken, corn bread, and 2 sides. You can't beat that. It is now $19.95 for a small which is plenty of food. Their prices haven't changed much over the years.

Don’t WASTE YOUR MONEY !!! I ordered rib and chicken combo for lunch the ribs are sooo damn dry you can tell they were sitting out all night the Mac taste straight out of the Kraft box the rice and peas where super dry this food taste stale and old let’s not start on the cornbread we don’t have that much time I wasted $16 I’ve never had ribs that hurts to chew .. my 1st and LAST TIME

Went here on a limb.. I remember the old location on Capitol Hill and decided lemme see if they still good.. They NOT! Wings had a weird charcoal taste (not in a good way) it’s like they used liquid smoke.. The ribs were dry as hell! The Mac and cheese has NO FLAVOR! not even a cheese flavor no salt or pepper. Greens taste like they was boiled in water.. The old heads might like this cause it taste like hospital food but take your mouth elsewhere lol…

Decided to give it a try for the lack of options around and have been blessed! Got a wing platter and omg one of the best wings I’ve ever had! And sides -both potato salad and slaw taste like homemade and seem really fresh. Oh and of course the sauce! Definitely a discovery for me, will be back for sure! Thank you
