I got the half slab and greens the ribs was alright a little on the thin side but good the greens omg they were disgusting overcooked to the point they looked like a file of wet jeans and the taste just terrible don't waste your money hell don't take it for free
I saw a couple reviews about the hot bbq sauce and the sides and like every person who’s been going here for decades(my parents went here back when it was on capital hill b4 it split with Kenny’s. YOU GUYS WERE RIGHT WHILE THE MEATS WERE STILL UP TO PAR THE HOT BBQ SAUCE IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING NOW AND SO ARE THE SIDES

This review is only for the SMOKED WINGS. They are the best in the DMV for more than 20 years. It’s all I get. With the spicy bbq sauce (and I don’t even like barbecue sauce—seriously). Do yourself a favor and give them a try if you’re ever in the vicinity. FYI: It is a carry-out (grab and go).🛍️
Note: I’ve had a few sides that are fine, but I’ll say you be the judge. However, the mac and cheese is trash. Kraft box-ish. I would never.

I drove to this place as their Google says open Monday, they were not open! So message to managers update your Google opening times coz the sign at the door shows you're closed on Monday but google says you're open
Great ribs and pulled pork, as well as rice and beans and potato salad. Chicken breast and wing was extremely dry though.

This little counter service bbq joint is phenomenal. It is tiny. With just enough room to order, but the food is some of the best bbq ever. Its smoked and grilled, the wings are not just the drumstick or flat, one wing is both peices. The chicken is so tender, the ribs fall apart, the sauce is happiness on a plate. We are from Tennessee, and this bbq blows anything we have out of the water. And service is FAST. Thank you for the best good we had all trip!!

We threw out the food, it was not edible, I wouldn't even throw it away in the room, I walked it to the parking lot to get rid of it. Worst ever

This is the sample of mac and cheese I was given by the restaurant after asking to return the mac and cheese due to no cheese. I don't understand the current ratings or the past review. 2/22/25 pictures shows what they think mac and cheese is.

I ordered 6 barbecue chicken wings with Mac & cheese and potatoe salad. The barbecue chicken was nasty it tasted like cardboard the Mac & cheese had no taste no cheese watery and the potatoe salad was horrible it only had green peppers in it and that was watery. Never again for me.
Parking: The parking lot is small however not too much cars come to eat. So you will have plenty of parking

This use to be the spot when you want a taste for bbq. They fall off now when I tell you Mac and cheese is so not it and the greens have no taste to it. The chicken was so hard and dry. Never again.
Parking: First come serve parking lol. It’s not crowded no more ,but it’s tiny.

The food was ok but lacks the standard of prior years. I had the Red beans and rice and they were to dry for my taste. I prefer more sauce with the beans. I also like my bbq sauce on the meat and they seemed to ration out a drizzle which was not enough to enhance the flavor of the bbq.
