Went here on my day off as I rarely go into DC. Been wanting to try this place for a long time. I got the chicken and waffles and I would definitely go back! Friendly staff that stays on top of checking up on you and filling water etc.
The food at Honeymoon Chicken was superb -- everything was cooked to perfection! My order was ready when I got there, the staff members were very cordial, even in spite of the bad weather! This is my go-to place for their food! Oh, and the mac-'n'-cheese was wonderful!
Parking: It's a small parking lot, and street parking can be hard to find, but that's the DMV! The lot had snow & ice on it but I won't judge them for that since this snow was pretty heavy. The food makes up for this!

The chicken here is always delicious. Tried the sweet potatoes(excellent) and the slaw(delightful) for the first time but it will not be the last. Food was delivered reasonably close to the promised time(it was in the middle of the blizzard of 2025 in DC). Glad they were open and had delivery service. Great food, great service

Overall I believe it’s a great concept. Being in restaurants myself I understand there are a few mishaps but guest recovery was quick. My wife ordered a sandwich but unfortunately it came out raw. Again, these things happen but all I ask is that the KM and all management pay close attention, someone can really get severally ill by this kind of incident.

This is how all Southern comfort food should be! I almost cried when I had my first bite of their honey butter biscuits. Can't wait to come back!!
This is one of our favorite spots! We absolutely love the food, especially their seasonal dishes. On our last visit, we met the general manager, who was incredibly kind and hands-on. I really appreciate when managers are actively involved and checking in with customers—it makes such a difference! Now, if only they’d make the lobster rolls a permanent menu item!

Definitely a top contender for my all time favorite chicken sandwiche ever. Even their chicken tenders were seasoned to perfection. Hard to recommend a single sandwich as their hot honey and Korean chicken both were phenomenal. Fortunate that everything is halal. Next time we visit DC this will be our first stop.

The food was absolutely delicious. A lot of places make good fried chicken, but the honey dust made this interesting and different. The sides were all fantastic, and the honey butter based rolls are unbelievable.
