Such a cute and cozy ice cream shop! We ordered raspberry sorbet, mocha, cookies and cream, and cherry stracciatella — everything was soooo good! The scoop sizes are generous! Music and vibes were cozy. Will come back again!!
Ice cream is fine. Way too expensive though. $7 for a tiny scoop, $12 for a sundae. Wow.
Very cute shop with wine and home made ice cream and shakes. I got the cherry stracciatella and it was very good! Their ice cream is less sweet than some other places.
I love Comet, I love Bucks, I love Muchas Gracias so I obviously love Honeys.
The sign on the window says “we are open for ice cream,” but they are never open no matter when I walk by. No hours posted, no phone number, no website.
This used to be my favorite ice cream shop in the Chevy Chase area. Unfortunately, the shop has been converted into a wine bar. As a local, I’ll miss their amazing ice cream and staff.
Edit: Honeys recently updated their website to reflect the changes to the shop! It seems that Honeys is still serving ice cream despite being converted into a wine bar. However, some of their flavors were discontinued, including their passion fruit ice cream, which was a favorite for adults in the neighborhood.
Ice cream was wonderful but I don’t think I’ve ever paid more for a one scoop in my life! (over $7)
