there was just a bug in my food im sooo disappointed I use to like this place I almost ate the bug if I didn’t look at my fork again don’t eat from here you will end up eating a bug.

Hell nah. The woman at the front desk has a horrible attitude and does not respect the customers. Do not patronize this business unless you absolutely have to. It's 2024 they don't take debit or credit. They over charge for everything and speak very condescendingly to their customers in Korean dialect do not go there at all....

I would give a 0 if i could. Went to this location and paid cash. The lady at the front gave me the wrong change & when i asked for my difference she questioned my education stating “what are you dumb? Did you not go to school i have you your change” with the max amount of patience in me the change was $2 so i allowed her to keep it, but it took everything in my not to spazz on this rude individual. I’ve searched high and wide for mumbo sauce closest to the OLD style 80s mumbo where it was Rich, thick burgundy color not all watered down like this new Mambo sauce, but I know supply and demand made carry outs start ‘stepping on’ the ingredients. This place here tho.. as far as TASTE, definitely is a hint of the Golden days. It’s my Go-To

The cashier yells at you and rush you through your order. They only take cash. My call in orders are never correct. No good customer service at all!

Hands down the only carry out I will eat from on this side of town compared to other options in the area. 8/10 the food is usually on point.. the problem lies in it being in the heart of S.E. so the Chinese employees have adapted, so expect the service to be that of where u are. Their mannerisms here are just like the (ghetto) hood it’s in. So if u don’t mind extremely rude service… this is the go to for carry out in Ward 8. Goodhope used to be decent but it’s new ownership there. FYI, the best carry outs are usually the ones that “don’t” deliver!

Best mumbo sauce I've ever had. Just remember to bring cash, they don't accept cards and their ATM with a $5 fee breaks all the time. There's a bodega down the street with a decent ATM if you need it

I graduated in 91 and moved just around the corner with my parents. This place had a 4 pattie hamburger back then and still til this day, I have never had a burger that was so dam good.I have been googling the DC area for years, trying to remember this place and wished I could get another one of those burgers.I found it, I got to try and get to DC, id give anything to have their burger again.Best I've ever had, hands down

Whenever I come to DC I get food from here. The nostalgia of takes me back! If you walk in and that lady isn’t yelling at someone at the top of her lungs you’re at the wrong place! The food is also very good which is why I keep going back! Cash only but they do have an ATM.
