Great little spot that is unfortunately closing down. I took a star off because of the speed of service on our visit and that we were solicited at the table. Wait staff is pleasant and stayed on top of drinks being refilled. We went in for Monday night wings and had a good experience. Downsides were being solicited at the table, it was (and usually is) very brightly lit for a restaurant, and the speed of the food coming out was (and usually is) pretty slow.
After nearly 20 years, on May 19, 2019, DC's only Hooters location will be closing due to the increased lease cost. Until then only the small bar area is open, the large dinning room is closed. They are also making orders to go. DC will miss this American icon with their wings, and unique ambiance.
I always enjoy my experience here. I get the Daytona wings, fiery and sweet. I've loved them since I had them back in 2009 lol a creature of comfort and they are very comforting.
Super friendly staff. Service was a little slow... but there were o ly 2 people in the kitchen. Food was pretty good. Drinks were okay.
I went late night since it was closing, I'm not going to down the place.
Worst Hooters ever. I walked in and waited to be seated for ten minutes. Hostess was nowhere to be found so I sat down. No one came to the table for five minutes. I left and went next door for food. And there's always homeless folks harassing you at the entrance. Will never go back!
I had a decent experience to weeks prior. I decided to return with friends for a couple NCAA tournament games. Yikes! We walked into a place that looked like spot lights were used to light the restaurant. We were acknowledged and sat immediately. High hopes for a good night because it was 15 mins with no interaction that made us leave. No water. No drinks. The only reason we stayed because the dirty menus are already on the table. We took our business across the street to Fado to watch the games.
I will be making a formal complaint regarding disestablishment. I wish I could get them dear All Stars but however the lowest one is a 1 * they do not deserve that after what I have experienced today.
Wings were to cold no taste
I've been to many Hooters.. this one was absolutely horrible.
Restaurantji Recommends
the waitress was nice the food was just average
Wings were good. Sliders were a little dry but tasty. Fries were a bit cool. Had to wait an extra 20 minutes past the time my online order said the food would be ready.
This is definitely one to pass on.
I've been to hundreds of restaurants and this is but far the WORST SERVICE EVER! And that's no lie. Me and a buddy decided to stop in last night to have beers/burgers before the wizards game. We were sat down, then forgotten about for 20 minutes. When our “Waitress “ decided to come back, we gave her our beer and food orders at the same time. Pitcher of beer(which took another 15 minutes) and burgers, simple cheese, lettuce, tomato, etc. Never were asked how we wanted our bur
