ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!! No I'm not employed here! I have to limit myself to once every other week. After being in the restaurant industry for 25 years I DEFINITELY respect this places consistency. Try it out.
Best authentic Shanghai soup dumpling in town! Super delicious and healthy!
Stopped in for some dim sum, convenient to metro.
Took about 15 minutes. Service is non existent -- you order at a kiosk, then I had to go check on the guy at the counter where it comes out and ask him to get our order out from under the hot lamp when done.
No plates, no spoon for the soup dumplings, no water.
The food was ok. Not great, but good enough.
Poor value for the price.
HVAC was broken, hot and stuffy inside.

Dumpling District is a convenient spot located in Luna Food Hall, with quick access to the Metro stop. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes, including pork xiaolongbao, shrimp dumplings, and rice cakes. The soup dumplings, in particular, are a standout and are good and filling. Ordering is easy at the kiosk and there are enough tables since it's not too crowded. The food is delicious and the group tried the Rainbow Soup Dumplings, Chicken Bao, Pork Potstickers, Scallion Pancakes and the Pork with rice bowl with zero complaints. While there can be a bit of a wait for the food, the dumplings are flavorful and tasty, making Dumpling District a convenient and enjoyable dining option.
