Great food, not great service. We waited a while to be seated, and then we were promptly greeted with waters. After that, it all went downhill. We were brought our mimosa pitchers, but had no glasses. We waited at least 30 minutes for glasses after asking multiple people. They didn't have traditional mimosas, only the flavors... which was fine but all the flavors had chunky bits in it. I recently dined at Il Piatto in DC, and I must say, their commitment to authentic Italian cuisine shines through. The portion sizes were spot-on, providing a satisfying meal without overwhelming. What stood out was the pasta—evidently house-made, it had that perfect al dente bite and texture that's hard to find outside Italy. It’s clear they use quality ingredients, making each dish not just a meal, but an experience. A must-visit for any pasta aficionado.

We were looking for a pasta restaurant for the day before the Washington race event. The food was absolutely delicious... arancini etc. The missing star is a bit for the service because no water refilter was given to us or asked if everything was OK.
