We got the curry chicken with rice, spinach, plantains, pineapple, etc. The flavors a delicious and complement each other very well! We payed $17 for each and the only reason I put 4 stars is the meal was semi-light for the price. It worked out for us, because we wanted room for dessert, but keep that in mind!
First off, I'm a huge fan of Immigrant Food (I usually go to the Planet Word location). This is a small food stall in Union Market offering a few different menu options such as sandwiches and bowls.

I've been a few times to this location and the staff are always friendly. The food is pretty decent but honestly I think there are better options in Union Market for the money. To date, I've had the West African Gumbo, Bahn Mi, and Cuban sandwich....
My wife and I had brunch on the patio at the White House location today and it was fantastic! We had a mezze platter appetizer, Havana sandwich and shakshuka & arepas entrees, and tres leches for dessert. All were spectacular, as was the service! Highly recommended!
