I had the pleasure of dining at ‘Irregardless Restaurant’ during a recent visit to Washington and was thoroughly impressed. As a Californian, I’ve experienced my fair share of fine dining, but Irregardless holds a special charm. The dishes here are crafted with such care and quality ingredients that each bite is a delight. I particularly enjoyed the Pappardelle, which was both flavorful and beautifully presented.The ambiance of the restaurant is inviting, creating a warm and pleasant dining atmosphere. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. The staff were exceedingly polite and attentive, offering thoughtful recommendations that enhanced our dining experience.For anyone in Washington seeking a memorable meal, I highly recommend Irregardless. The combination of exquisite food, a welcoming environment, and outstanding service makes it a standout dining destination. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

We stumbled upon this place randomlyWe had the French toast, all American, Florentine, home fries, bourbon whiskey (both strawberry and blueberry), matcha martini, and a blueberry mimosa. It’s rare when you try somewhere that every item you get off the menu is superb. We really enjoyed the food and drinks here and will definitely be back. It was clean and the ambience was nice as well.

Great service, but portions were far too small for the price and substance. We ordered the scallop ceviche, pierogis, and coconut shrimp. The ceviche was delicate and tasty, but a very small portion. The pierogis should be billed as an appetizer, not an entree (4 small dumplings). The coconut shrimp was tasty but needed rice to make it a formidable entree. Both my wife and I finished feeling unsatisfied and ended up ordering a burger to split. Again, tasty, but not worth the price given the portion sizes. We still left hungry with a $145 tab. Cocktails were interesting, but also skimpy portions at $16-17/drink. This place has promise given strong service and atmosphere, but right now it will leave you wanting more (food).

This place is great. Phil did an amazing job taking care of us and running the restaurant at the same time. I was super impressed that the service was prompt, personal, and detailed. We started with the Virginia cheddar croquettes and they were the highlight for me personally. We each ordered the pappardelle and were happy with it. I would definitely come back here for a glass of wine just to enjoy the intimate atmosphere. Great place for a date. I would say that it was on the slightly expensive side for the atmosphere and what you get.

Irregardless: Sunny Staff. Fantastic Food. Awesome Atmosphere.Each time I visit I am greeted by the owner Phil C. and he is delightful. The manager Christina is not too far behind always providing top notch service.My favorite is when the young chef comes out double checking that the food was delicious, and it always is. My 3 favorite menu items are YUCCA PANISSE, ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS, and CINNAMON APPLE ICE CREAM. All flavored and cooked with love. I can not get enough.I enjoy the atmosphere there is always music playing.I recommend Brunch they purchase fresh baked goods.

I don't frequently leave reviews but felt I had to say something about the incredible food and staff at Irregardless. My partner and I came here for the first time during Winter Restaurant Week and had a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, and everything we ate and drank was a home run. Getting to sample some excellent Virginia wines and learn more about area wineries was a bonus. Extremely thoughtful and well executed menu, lovely atmosphere, and just an overall wonderful experience – we will definitely be regular customers moving forward!

I mean everything was perfect. From the customer service to the food, to the ambiance to the playlist. What a phenomenal way to start to my Saturday. I had brunch alone and Phil made me feel welcomed from the moment I entered. I will definitely be retuning Ps: Being that they’re located on H street you’ll see a lot of pass-by-ers and I witnessed how Phil services everyone “regardless” of if they’re offering something in return. One guy stopped in randomly asking for hot sauce for his soup and the way Phil serviced him just as if he was a paying customer, made me a lifetime supporter!
