I believe guests should give some restos grace while they go through a learning curve. For me Cynthia’s is that place. Great location on the H Street corridor with lovely cozy atmosphere and seating. We loved this place when it was Irregardless, so we decided to check out Cynthia. The Bad: the food is sadly not the same. Most of the dishes were either too salty or lacking something altogether. The Caesar salad was super bland. The fries tasted stale. The burger was so salty it was hard to eat. The Good: the service was impeccable — our server was attentive and very friendly. The person who greeted us at the door was also super engaging and inviting. The cocktails were amazing!...
The service was good and the ambiance was cute, but the food was awful. The chicken sandwich had too much bread and was fried to the point of dryness. It was cheap, but not worth it. I won't be back.
