Ordered delivery for the chicken Alfredo and a small Caesar salad. The salad came dry with no dressing. The pasta had WAY too much sauce and was like cutting into a baked ziti. Alfredo sauce was bland and under seasoned.

I have ordered from Italian Kitchen on U for lunchtime catering on several occasions and let me tell you, not once have I or my team of over 55 employees ever been disappointed. Here's a recap of an email I sent to my wonderful contact Tony:
"Hi Tony –
First, thank you for my “special” food. You saved me from having to cook dinner yet again. 😊 Second, the lunch arrived on time. YAY! Third, I dined on the steak and cheese panini. It was delicious. The bread was nice and soft, the vegetable dressing (lettuce and tomato) was fresh, the steak tender. Yum. Finally, a comment from two of my co-workers: “Erin and I agree that the Eggplant Pizza was amazing ;) Thank You!!” Others have also commented as follows: the steak and cheese are delicious; the Caesar salad is great. One even said the dressing was “out of this world”. They also love the lasagna, I concur. You and your team have been hitting it out of the ballpark consistently. Thank you. You make me look good (wink, wink). I will be in touch for future orders real soon. 😊 Trust me, you will not regret dining with them. They definitely aim to please the customers. Unfortunately, there are no pictures to share. We demolished the food before I considered leaving this review.
Vegetarian options: It is best to order directly from the store front/brick and mortar as opposed through one of the third party ordering/delivery services (you know who they are). They restaurant is very accommodating.
Dietary restrictions: They have been able to provide various dietary restriction needs from vegan, vegetarian to gluten-free.
I have never had a better experience ordering an entire office lunch with a company than I had today with Italian Kitchen (DC). Tony went above and beyond to be professional, courteous, & helpful. Every single order, out of the 16, was name labeled and individually bagged. All requested changes were made, and nothing was missing. I have never been happier with a delivery service. This was such an amazing, pleasant experience & I owe it all to Tony & Italian Kitchen DC.

The owners are two of the most kind hearted people I’ve ever met. It was evident that they genuinely care about their staff and customers. Service was outstanding. I’ve also had food catered from Italian Kitchen and everything we could have possibly needed was provided without even having to request. Definitely would recommend!
We ordered two Lasagnas and Chicken Alfredo with three sodas. Working hours until 11 p.m. during work week. We ordered for take out because they were closing. Prices were around 20$ per person including soda. Meal size is good, worker was polite and nice. Neighbourhood is sketchy during the night, but maybe it’s just us because we are not from around here. We found it using google maps search for italian restaurant. Family owned and operated. Street parking down the street and in front of the restaurant. Solid 8 / 10 overall rating.

Entered very very hungry from a long day, was expecting a Italian restaurant, it wasn't, I was fine with that but what ruined the experience was the worker. It was an Edgar who was on his phone the entire minute we were in the place asking questions. We asked if it was fine if we can sit with the menu and he gave us sass, the food in the photos looked so good but I'm not going to trust a place that has their worker on the phone while talking to customers.
