It's a dope spot! Came during happy hour for an Italian beef, Chicago dog and a couple of handshakes. Everything was delicious and exactly like I remembered from the Midwest. The staff and patrons were super chill and welcoming. I left feeling super pleased with my experience.

Watched the Michigan football game with my wife and full of fans. If you are in DC and they are playing its a must stop. The energy is better than at home.
Bar service with good food, cold drinks, and great staff.
Didn't have any food but the beers were great. Bartender was perfect for a back bar that is almost like a speakeasy. Youngish crowd but we didn't feel out of place. Try the malort. It's something special.

It was not my cup of tea, but it was highly recommended to me and everyone there seemed at home. Quite loud with loads of people, even for a Friday, but it does fit everyone without a need to shove through the crowd.
I got a quick cider and dipped out. At first, I thought the bartender was joking about how he won't make me an old fashion, but he was serious: they don't have ingrediants to make an old fashion.
