Gooey butter cake is the best!! But the wait is always so long here 😭😭😭

I came once and waited for 20 minutes with only 2 people in front of me in line and decided to leave. Came again and waited 20 minutes to get my ice cream. Came a third time and waited 15. Unbelievable.

Staffs were super nice! And they have so many great choices for the ice cream flavors. Love the green smoothie

Just OK for me today. Maybe I picked the wrong flavors. The speed-talking guy behind the counter put the press on me to decide - mistake.

No doubt the choices are exotic and so is $7 plus for (what Jeni calls) two scoops. I just wasn't feeling it today.

Last thing. The waffle cone piece that came with… it was “musty” and had no redemption quality - it didn't add to the experience at all. I'll pass next time. I'll save on parking that way too.

Dietary restrictions: Clearly labeled for DF options

Kid-friendliness: Too expensive and fancy for my kids

Wheelchair accessibility: Stairs - no good

I love Jeni’s but this location is so unreliable. Horrible service and inconsistent hours that don’t match what’s advertised.

The ice cream is very good, but there are smaller, independent options available, some closeby.

Luis at Jeni’s Ice Cream epitomizes phenomenal customer service! From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm that made me feel instantly welcomed. He went above and beyond to ensure I had the best experience, patiently guiding me through the menu and offering insightful recommendations. Luis’s attention to detail and his ability to anticipate my needs truly stood out. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to making each customer’s visit special, and Luis did just that. I’ll definitely be returning, thanks to his outstanding service!

What can I say about Jeni’s. Love this place. As soon as you walk in you get hit with a magical scent. I got the opportunity to try a couple flavors before I chose one. The ice cream is a bit pricey but worth it. The birthday cake was fantastic. Service was good as well. Everyone was kind and helpful. There is plenty seating inside. Look forward to going back.

Love loved loving the ice cream!!! And the cone was amazing. I got the peanut butter flavor, it’s heavenly and the dude who helped me was fantastic. Ask them for suggestions, they know the good flavors!

Thumbs down on 8th ST DC location. Got their PPJ special 2 same scopes whipped cream and strawberry topping. When handed to me it was visually unappealing the strawberry topping was not a strawberry red color but looked pale red like they dumped to much cornstarch in. The taste also lacked strawberry flavor. They would have been better off using Harris Teeters brand strawberry jam! Eating inside posters say our ice creams are designed two enjoy two different scoops together. Why would you then have a special that has two scoops that are the same. The PPJ was a limited flavor it was nothing special would not order again
1 worked was working on order for son and dad who walked in then a mom and son then us. The customer on their 6th sample waitstaff asked the employee to come out and wait on us. Should have asked her out sooner. The self serve water was empty the chalk was like 30 stubby 1/4” long pieces
My grandchildren was right Häagen-Dazs in the box was a better choice 2 ice creams $16

When did 2 scoops of ice cream...not full but 1/2 scoops, start costing $10.00?? It was delicious but super expensive in my eyes. I did have it in a waffle bowl. I guess I'm turning into my dad? They called him frugle. My kids just call me cheap. Haha. Enjoy the ice cream...it was very good.
