They have some unique ice cream flavors. I enjoyed this spot. The cone was nice and warm too. Just how I like it.

The lady at the register was SO RUDE and she was burping into my ice cream ?????, I love the ice cream here but I’m not spending my money where there’s no good customer service, at the register I gently ask if they offer military discount because the website says that they do and this lady said something and I couldn’t hear so I asked her nicely one more time and she literally yielded at me “ I said let me see” she was with attitude from the beginning, at the end I asked for my receipt and she said they didn’t have printer paper, it was my first time at this location and it will be the last, I usually go to the 14th st and never had this experience

I went earlier this week. When we arrived, there was a line out the door and down the block a bit.My party wanted to wait and so we got in line. It took a half hour to get in the door and when it was our turn, we were told that we would have to wait longer while they served people who were several parties behind us. The server behind the counter said the person who was going to pay for this party was up front.We asked that they pay their bill and wait for the rest of their party, who only got in line ten minutes earlier, and then pay a second time for them. The server said she did not want to ring up two bills.I left. I didn't want to wait while the servers argued with my party and the party behind me to wait on five more people who had not been waiting like we had been.I don't know what the ice cream tastes like. But I know the service left a bitter taste in my mouth.

My mom and I stopped in before seeing a show at the theater across the street. The place was clean and smelled so delicious! The ice cream was sooo good! I had the gooey butter cake and texas sheet cake (which was dairy free) and both were some of the best flavors I've had anywhere. And the cones! They're made fresh and have such a nice crunch without being so hard you break a tooth. I honestly almost went back for another when I was done. This is a definite stop!
Double dark chocolate in a pint to go without fail, every time. You won’t regret it.

One of the few places in Capitol Hill to grab an ice cream after work. The staff is nice, the place is clean and has some fun music playing. There is a large variety of different ice creams to choose! The coffee ice creams are a personal favorite, I only wish that some of the pint flavors were available for a scoop to eat. The ice cream flavors are unique and creative, and there are fun dairy free flavors as well. The price could be more affordable, but you get to choose two flavors for the standard serving. Overall, their gourmet ice cream is worth a purchase every now and then when you're looking to treat yourself!

We made a quick stop at Jeni's because we were craving ice cream. Jeni's did not disappoint! The atmosphere was warm and cheerful. We were greeted my a friendly cashier who was more than patient as we sampled different flavors before making our choice. I chose a scoop of the honey vanilla bean and the famous brambleberry crisp ice cream. My wife had a scoop of brown butter almond ice cream. Both were creamy and decadent.

Jenis is splendid and always produces the best ice cream, however the experience I had at this location left me with the worst kind of taste in my mouth and I will not be returning. I am not sure who owns this location or does the hiring but the nasty and inexcusable attitude from staff I experienced when they are serving the ice cream is a complete turn off. The short redheaded woman greeted us in a rude manner upon entering and then proceeded to catch an instant attitude when other customers walked in the establishment. The worker then became argumentative with me once she confused herself about my ice cream selection with another and had to start over. She continued to be rude up until I paid for my ice cream but looking back I should have never paid after that disgusting service was provided. I never understood people who work in the service industry that have such a unwelcoming distasteful attitude. Hopefully when other customers visit that worker will wake up on the right side of the bed that morning.
A nice pit stop after dinner. We enjoyed the dark chocolate and the peanut butter chip ice cream! The lady was nice and let us have a few samples, all flavors were so good and creamy!

There was long line and only 1 person taking the order and checking out. Waited for 25 minutes to get the ice cream. The person left in back and came back after 20 min. Never seen this before. Worst service and the owner need to hire more people to work. It doesn't even deserve 1 star but didn't had option for 0.

I wish that I could say that I had an excellent time at Jeni's as always. This however is not the case. I also wish that I could tell you how amazing the ice cream was, however this isn't the case. This is because even though my family member and I arrived at 2:05pm today (12.11.23), to my surprise when I grabbed the door handle to get in, it was locked. Shortly after I see a young woman with short hair walking back in forth in the front of the shop, however she doesn't come over to announce anything so we wait. It's now 2:13pm and then I call their sister location to see if anything is happening in the store today. They tell me that maybe it has something to do with them making ice cream/stocking for the day and they wish me "good luck". Shortly after my phone call, the associate comes to the door to let us know that her coworker is running late and that they can't official open until they get here. We then ask if we can sit inside in the meantime as it's very cold outside. The young woman says this isn't possible, so we leave ice cream less and disappointed.
