So disappointed as I brought my winning debate team down from Baltimore for a celebratory ice cream. I checked the hours and somehow the store was closed when we arrived at 1030pmThe hours on the window read 2-11pm

I came here on a walk with my dad. It was really fun. The ice cream is amazing! You probably will have to park in a parking garage and walk a little bit if you're used to the DC area you know how it is. It has a good atmosphere and is fun to go to with Friends.

Jeni’s is certainly splendid! Lavender, sweet potato marshmallow, and a berry pear sorbet! Yum.

The ice cream options were good, I especially loved the crispy waffle cone. You are able to sample before purchasing, and that's a plus.

Wide selection of flavors. Darkest chocolate is my personal favorite!

Cute ice cream shop at Navy Yards. Stopped by with some friends during a work trip in DC, after eating at a nearby restaurant. Lots of flavor options- note, the two freezers had the same flavors repeated (just two stations I guess). Service was good- lots of samples. I ended up with the wildberry lavender and butter cake, with a waffle cone. Waffle cone was a bit too salty once the ice cream was all gone, so I ended up tossing the bottom half of my cone. Cute wall mural! Would like to come back and try some exclusive flavors from the pints.

We were visiting and looking for something sweet but not too heavy after dinner. Found this little gem and it's fantastic!! Highly recommend! Hubby tried the cooker with cream and sugar and definitely had a light but very delicious coffee flavor. I tried the wild berry lavender which was light and delicious too! We also learned about the 4 sensory elements of ice cream courtesy of their informative napkins. Their packaging and utensils are sustainable friendly and compostable which is a plus for Mother Earth! Go get some! You'll love it!

First it was clean and everyone was very friendly. Second the flavors were great and it was sooooo smooth. Finally, I am not sure how she was able to get the ice cream all the way to the bottom of the waffle cone without breaking it, but she did.

The ice-cream is good and the place is beautiful.I went in with 2 of my kids to get ice-cream- it was our first time even though we live in the area. The lady who served us( African american) had a horrible attitude. My kids noticed this too - we ordered 3 waffle cones and 2 bowls. She acted like that's alot to order and also showing us the different sizes seemed a task to her. I would have e canceled the order but my kids had just come from playing soccer and needed something to cool off.I even wanted to buy an extra tub of ice-cream to carry out but her attitude just put me off and didn't bother asking for it. As much as the ice cream is good, I will not go back. ( Attitude can build a business and the opposite is also true).

When you can't decide have both! Gooey Butter Cake & Bramleberry Crisp in a waffle bowl. Don't know which flavor I loved more! The Gooey Butter Cake has a perfectly balanced ratio of cake chunks to ice cream. The Bambleberry Crisp is just out of this world! Felt like I was having berry pie with ice cream.

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams is a delightful spot for ice cream. Jeni's creative flavors are a treat for the taste buds, ranging from classic favorites to unique combinations. One standout flavor is the Sweet Cream Biscuits & Peach Jam, a heavenly blend of creamy sweetness and fruity goodness. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients shine through in every spoonful. With its inviting atmosphere and friendly staff, Jeni's is a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable ice cream experience.

The staff at this location were nice and helpful with the recommendations. I got a waffle bowl with three ice cream flavors - wildberry lavender, honey vanilla bean, and gooey butter cake. The wildberry lavender was delicious and I think Jeni's lavender ice cream is my favorite out of all the places I've tried. The honey vanilla bean is a nice and elevated classic, not too sweet and hits the spot for me. The gooey butter cake was interesting. Very buttery, yet sweet at the same time and the cake chunks in there were unique. I don't know if I really liked this flavor, but definitely worth a try if you're into giving "wacky" flavors a chance. The waffle bowl was crispy and super buttery, but too much for me in the end. Overall, this was delicious and a worthy dessert after dinner!
