I came here on a walk with my dad. It was really fun. The ice cream is amazing! You probably will have to park in a parking garage and walk a little bit if you're used to the DC area you know how it is. It has a good atmosphere and is fun to go to with Friends.

Cute ice cream shop at Navy Yards. Stopped by with some friends during a work trip in DC, after eating at a nearby restaurant. Lots of flavor options- note, the two freezers had the same flavors repeated (just two stations I guess). Service was good- lots of samples. I ended up with the wildberry lavender and butter cake, with a waffle cone. Waffle cone was a bit too salty once the ice cream was all gone, so I ended up tossing the bottom half of my cone. We were visiting and looking for something sweet but not too heavy after dinner. Found this little gem and it's fantastic!! Highly recommend! Hubby tried the cooker with cream and sugar and definitely had a light but very delicious coffee flavor. I tried the wild berry lavender which was light and delicious too!
