Customer service was the best! We were going to a place close by and welcomed immediately. The welcome brought us back but the smell of the fresh jerk chicken drew my group in. Food was delicious and wait was short. Music and drinks were just the icing on the cake... when we return to the DMV we will be back!!

I almost never leave reviews but my experience here was so bad. Being in the service industry myself I tried to be nice to the people preparing my food. And I knew they were backed up so I was willing to wait. My order was messed up and the young lady taking my order was very rude to me after they got my order wrong. I continued to be nice to her and watched her be rude to every person that came up to the counter. If you don’t want to do customer service then don’t. I won’t be coming back here. After all that the food wasn’t worth it.

I got the rice and peas, jerk chicken with cabbage. The portion size was horrible for $16.00, 3/4 of the plate was filled with cabbage that has alot of oil and is very soft. The rice was ok for what it is. Let's talk about the chicken, this is not jerk chicken people! This is country style chicken where is fried for a little bit then cooked down with season. The jerk chicken they offered here is very soft, no crunch whatsoever, no taste of jerk or the grill on it, it was raw on the inside and pink. I don't know what this was. The only taste good thing was the PATTY. I am very very disappointed with my meal, cause I traveled all the way from Atlanta to try out this food spot.
Suggestions: 1.Serve the cabbage in a separate container so that it the rice doesn't get saggy and watery.
2. Do the jerk chicken properly! Allow it soak! If you are offering Jamaican jerk chicken, do it the Jamaican way. Grill it to perfection, or you can oven jerk it and let it has some crisp and crunch to it.
3. Consider a double sided box for the price that you are charging. ITS TOO MUCH FOR THAT PRICE AND BARELY ANY RICE AND
SOME PEAS IN THE PLATE. ALSO ADD PEAS TO THE RICE CAUSE I DIDNT SEE ANY IN MY MEAL.
They never have what you want and the food is way too overpriced. Oxtails on point though

So. My lower score is strictly based off the portion size to price ratio! Other than that, the sides I ordered were very flavorful. Just don’t believe it was worth $16!!! For 3 sides

the best jerk place , supervisor was the best she get you in and out she go above and beyond for her customers making sure that you are satisfied ..
Never eaten here before. Ordered a curry chicken and asked for jerk sauce on the rice and they charged me an extra $5.
Went to the location on Queens Chapel Rd on a Saturday around 9 pm took a littleover an hour to receive our food its not first come first serve, Dont go on weekends hard to find parking it right beside a night club only street parking available. I wasn't impressed over the food I am looking forward to try the other location I had such high hope after Keith Lee experience maybe I went to the wrong location.

Diana is amazing! Her customer service skills are top-notch, but let me tell you they’re macaroni and cheese and their oxtail is amazing! 10 out of 10

When I moved to DC I would always pass by here and see the lines long so I had to stop by. The food here is amazing and the costomer service is amazing. Everyone is pleasant and socialable. Even the chief came out to chat. Try them you won’t be disappointed. Also ask about the back story on how Jerk at Nite started.
