My Ramen was tasteless to the point that I had to returned it . Add this that we waited 40 minutes to get the order . My daughter’s ramen was full of chicken fat .
I have never tried such a bad place .

When I first arrived the host was lively and inviting. When my actual waitress (Chaya) showed up, I had to greet her or she would've just placed the cups on the table and walked away. Very bad attitude and very dry. Which was interesting because I watched how she greeted other Caucasian and Aisian patrons that came in after and she did not have the same nasty attitude and I even saw her smile. Wouldn't have given her a tip if I never worked service industry before but she deserved the bare minimum that she gave.
Food:
This is the worst ramen I've had in any city. Had absolutely no flavor. The chicken was so bad, no flavor and so dry, had some weird looking black spots on it don't know if that was supposed to be seasoning. The best thing was the drink and appetizer. If you've had authentic ramen I would say steer clear from here. Person I was with said their broccoli tasted like what old wet towel smells like.

Walked in and got a reservation. Waited in the area until a text was received that our table was ready. Waited around 10 minutes at the host stand as we were asked twice about preference of table. Group walked in behind us with no reservation and were seated immediately as we still waited for our table. Once seated the table was dirty so I asked the hostess then if the table could be wiped down and she responded yes. We waited 10 minutes before a server came. I asked them if they could wipe down the table as it hadn’t been wiped down yet and they responded yes. They then appeared with water and spilled it all over the table getting us wet. I hadn’t yet ordered any food only a drink. For the remainder of the visit I had my beer. Was never asked about a food order after water was spilled on us and after I wiped down the table. Meanwhile next to us I heard the manager talking to customers who had a problem and he was rude. So I didn’t try any food. Needless to say I won’t be returning to this “restaurant”.

The place was very busy so we sat at the bar and Ramez the bartender took the best care of my wife and I. Food was good but you always remember how the server takes care of you. Great date night for the wife and I. Thank you Ramez.

Went there when they first opened and they overcharged my bill by 80$ I contacted them the following day about it overcharge and General Manager Josh gave me his card and said he didn’t know how to refund the overcharge and he would get back to me with a week. TWO MONTHS GO BY, not a word, I had to physically go back to the location to talk to him again, for him to lie to my face and say he’d been trying to contact me but never left a single message or voicemail, but said he called me from his personal number? Still no texts or voicemails at all. Says he can’t refund me because I paid Apple Pay? Actually looks into it this time and actually calls me back to let me know refund has been issued and it would be back in my account in 48 hours. 48 hours has passed and I called back to speak to manager, instead they send the host to talk to me instead of professionally coming to speak to me themselves just to tell me i have to wait 5-7 business days for my refund. I work in the restaurant business in management so I know how it works and the proper procedure.

Will never patron this place again. And if you do go there only use exact change. Very unprofessional and has thrown me off from company in general. There is also no corporate email either which is also weird. Don’t trust them

Great addition to the Wharf dining scene. Big menu with vegetarian options and some healthier options like poke bowls. Appetizers are a must try, my favorite is the miso eggplant and my boyfriend likes the karaage crispy chicken the most. The original tonkatsu ramen is the most authentically Japanese ramen I've had in DC proper, reminds me of a ramen I had in Tokyo earlier this year. I love the hot sauce that comes with it so much, it definitely makes the food taste authentic. If you here with someone, I would recommend sharing a ramen and some appetizers, as the ramen is very big and you wont be able to finish a whole ramen plus appetizers. Ask for Mario as your server, he is the kindest and very knowledgeable about the menu.

Came back to DC for the weekend to see some friends and stopped in here to grab some lunch. The atmosphere was great. The service was amazing. I got the spicy red level five which was very spicy. It was absolutely delicious and would love to go back.
