I’ve worked in restaurants my whole life, making and serving food (including burgers and fries). I just stopped by Joia last night, for the first time. I ordered a double patty. I have to say that it might have been the best burger I’ve ever tried. Nothing too fancy, just the perfect size and balance of ingredients. I’m a big fan of purple patch down the street so I had to try their burger place. Their burgers are good and solidly sized. I like when my burgers have a little something extra to them. We also got the loaded fries.

Joia Burger is so good! The fried burgers were super tasty, and the ube ice cream with toasted coconut was amazing. Such a fun little spot in Mt. Pleasant, definitely worth stopping by.
