Great small jazz venue. Ok to go in solo. Better if you go with a significant other or group. The jazz was amazing. The acoustics are exceptional in the space. The Big Bass player did his thing last night. Service for a jazz club was fast with food and drinks. The flavors were on point.

First time going this past Sunday. Really nice vibe!!! Staff was excellent and great service!!!!! The food was awesome, and the band was grooving all night. I don't even do reviews, but this place was perfect!!! I had to give them a huge shout-out. I'm going back next week!!!

Service was an A++!! We were put on a waitlist but when we showed up the hostess so kindly found us a place to sit. As it was our 10th Wedding Anniversary this meant the world to us! My husband steak was cooked perfectly! I had the creole shrimp and they were delicious! I loved the jazz music! Even sitting up stairs you can still hear it and enjoy it. So glad we found this place! Wonderful time here!

This is the music lounge/bar from New York Undercover Iykyk. This place is a super vibe. One of the best places to get great food listen to live music and have libations.

Such a fun spot! I love that they have live music that you can hear throughout the restaurant. We sat upstairs and could still enjoy the entertainment without it drowning out our conversation. The bread pudding was excellent. And the waitstaff were all very nice.

Live music is great as expected however seating arrangements with reservations can be managed better. I would cull your expectations on a reservation guaranteeing an optimal table in the live music area. Reservations seem to be based on total seating capacity of the place which includes seating away from the music area.Like some other patrons mentioned, seating in the band / bar area is very limited, with maybe only 6-8 small tables available.Upstairs seating is on another floor, far removed from the actual live music with most people come to this place for.Food and drink are unspectacular on their own and seem to be slightly overpriced.If you want a better chance at an optimal table, arrive earlier than your reservation time and well before the music is scheduled to start.You may also opt for bar seating, though those seats seem to be quite limited as well.

I love to bring my husband here on date nights or special occasions. The live music is the icing on the cake. The food is comfort food, good to your soul type of taste! You will not be disappointed! They also run specials on drinks!

I am a frequent, actually I was a frequent patron of JoJo for over 5 years. My wife and I loved the place. We went there for the music. Always great vibes. The staff and the service was really good. We are high tippers and always tipped the band and would buy them round of drinks. However, it is regretful that I will not be going to JoJo's anymore. Whenever I go to JoJo I am seated on the ground level. As a matter of fact, I did not know there was a 2nd floor. The vibes on the 2nd floor is not the same. Note, I go there for the music and vibes. For me, there is no vibes on the 2nd floor. Just dining. My reason for not going to JoJo's any more has noting to do with their good music or vibes, its because on two occasion's after making reservations way in advance and specifying that I only want to seating downstairs, my request was not honored. The last time, the reservation was 2 weeks in advance, and when we got there, we were told, that seating is on a 1st come 1st serve basis. We were given the cold treatment with no remorse. Bye Bye JoJo's. You lost a fan.

The food was very pleasing, well prepared and tasted good. Was satisfied with the menu variety. However when the bruschetta was brought to the table, it was pulled off the plate as the parchment paper between it and the plate stuck to the server's hand or sleeve some way. Fortunately, it remained on the tabletop and wasn't pulled to the floor. Once the entrees of my friend and I arrived, I noticed we both ordered dishes that included jumbo shrimp. But two pieces of jumbo shrimp - per each dish - seemed stingy. By that time a jazz band had started playing downstairs. During their intermissions, mostly older R&B hits were played a little too loudly.I wanted to order dessert and it took a long time for the waiter to return for me to do that. I simultaneously let them know I wanted to take home what remained of my entree. I had a concern there might be a problem with if, and how they would pack it. I had separated the shell-covered shrimp tails from the leftover edible. My plate was taken and when dessert was brought so were my leftovers packaged and wrapped in a plastic bag. Upon pulling out the leftovers (photo, top center) the next day it turned out my concern was valid because the shrimp tails were in the container, not the remaining shrimp! That was disappointing considering the foreign ethnicity of the server and waiter. They (restaurant staff) should be able to tell the difference between what's edible and what's not...
