Kabul Castle Kabob is a solid spot if you’re craving flavorful Afghan food. The kabobs were juicy and well seasoned, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the bread and sides rounded out the meal nicely. Portions are generous, the service is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is casual and unpretentious — perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner. Definitely a place I’d go back to for a satisfying, hearty meal.

This place may have the best value of any restaurant I’ve been to in 5+ years in DC. The food is high quality and delicious, and the staff is always very kind. I recommend this place to anyone

I was in town for 6 days and ended up eating here 4 times. Excellent value and flavor. I had the: 1) $10 daily special, which was a chicken bowl. 2) $15 gyro and fries. 3) $30 lamb chops plate which is prolly enough to feed 2 people.

I was impressed with how fresh the food was and the quality and qtty of the protein, especially for its afforbility. The staff is very friendly and the main guy remembered me after just my first visit. I look forward to coming back...
