The food was solid, not extraordinary. However, our server, Maya, was exceptional. She provided excellent service, as she was attentive and prompt with addressing our requests at the table. Overall, I would love to return to this restaurant if I were to experience this service again.
We never intended to eat in the restaurant, but while waiting for the food, I found it to be a bit noisy.
The food was good enough to have us return 3 out of the 5 nights we were in DC. The ribs, brisket, crab cakes and deviled eggs were enjoyable.
The service was good as well. I found the bartender, who I'd shout out of I knew his name, to be cool.
I'll definitely return when I'm in DC again.
