Kitchen + Cocktails does not disappoint at all. The appetizers, entrees, sides, and desserts were all amazing. We had a big group, so we ordered crab cakes, lamb chops, salmon salad, lobster mac and cheese, black-eyed peas, and banana pudding, and it all was amazing. For the size of the group and amount of food we ordered, it all came out at a reasonable time, and it was all fresh and hot. This wasn’t my first time here, and it for sure won’t be my last.

This place is HIGHLY overpriced and overrated. I only enjoyed the music and the drinks. The furniture needs to be replaced, the chairs have stains the tables are chipping, and we were seated at a table that had food all in the seats. Our server (Camille) was HORRIBLE!!!!! She was so inattentive (seems like to only my table). She took our drink orders and disappeared. She asked if I wanted bottled water or filtered, I asked for bottled. She comes back with the filtered tap water. I said I asked for bottled. She said oh ok and never came back with the bottle. We watched everyone’s food come out and we still hadn’t put our order in after over 30min. When she finally comes back, she says “do you need anything” I said yes, we’d like to place our order. She told us she forgot and thought we had put our order in. Then the food finally comes, the greens were the only thing that was hot. The pork chops were season less and the fried chicken was super dry. Then to top off the horrible service, they added a TWENTY percent service fee. So THAT is why our server didn’t care to put any effort into serving us.. she’s getting paid either way. This place is ROBBERY!!!!!! I will NOT be returning and will be spreading the word.

Me and my girls had an amazing time at kitchen and cocktails! Our server, Nyla was amazing and very attentive so what we needed and she also had amazing energy. As first-time is in Washington DC, she definitely made our time memorable!

Our waiters were Nala (sorry if it’s the wrong name 😅 regardless you were great) and Yusef were very attentive and focused on making sure we had everything we needed.
The atmosphere is contagious and everyone is having a good time. FOOD WAS AMAZING. Even the assistant manager made sure we had a great time
