We had a really nice brunch here. Not sure how they are regularly but I can definitely recommend the heuvos rancheros and mimosas!

I had the shrimp quesadillas and I was not impressed. You could barely taste that shrimp was inside mostly cheese. It just wasn’t given. The queso dip also was a little cold and plain. I’ve definitely had better Mexican food. The waiter was ok. Seemed a little flustered at times. The place is in a good spot I suppose and looks really good inside but that’s about it. Visiting from out of the state and I just wasn’t impressed.
Parking: After 6:30 PM you can park on the street for free.

A fantastic place for brunch! Passion fruit and strawberry mimosas are great, and only $5! I also recommend their brunch burrito, it is delicious.

Came in for a nice evening with friends, made a reservation for 7 people around 6:30 and they were very accommodating. Our server Kayla was super friendly and had amazing recommendations for both drinks and food. The manager Angel also came over to check on us throughout the service and made sure everything was perfect!

Came here for dinner with my partner and had the most amazing time. The food was delicious and the service was some of the best I’ve received in DC. We spoke with the manager Angel who gave us phenomenal recommendations and really made our dinner feel extra special. Thank you so much to him and the whole staff!

Look at this picture and decide what you think would be a fair price.
It's chicken fajitas, chips & salsa, a small margarita, and a cocktail. During happy hour.
The service was good. The flavor amazing. So I tipped $11. That's the 20% indicated on the receipt, but by my math that was wrong. It should have been more.
Yeah. $63, before tip. For one person to have chips, salsa, fajitas and 2 cocktails. And maybe it's just shock at the cost of DC, or 2025. But yikes. I was really enjoying everything and then that price just ruined it.

An ostensibly Tex-Mex place that can’t get margaritas (cheap-tasting syrup playing the role of agave and citrus) and nachos (chips with lukewarm chicken, a dusting of cheese, and an unidentified liquid in which the concoction is floating) right is sure trying to be something—but that ain’t it.
Might have said something to the server, but he just walked out without an acknowledgment halfway into this very mediocre meal.

El Bebe saved the day. My office holiday luncheon was catered by the Navy Yard location with less than 24 hrs notice. I called and spoke to Tee M, one of the managers a day before the event. She immediately calmed my nerves by accepting my request and suggested great options. We opted for the Taco bar with pans of rice and black beans and corn dip. The next day I received a call from her that my order was ready. Tee was onsite with the team carrying the items to my car and carefully placed it my vehicle. Everyone at work raved about how delicious the food was. The presentation, temperature and quality were superb. Fresh and flavorful. I don’t know what magic she worked to pull this off but I am forever thankful for the superior service and recommend El Bebe for your next gathering.

Went during happy hour with my friends after work. Our server was AMAZING...so mad I can't remember her name. She was as attentive as can be. From the margaritas to the tacos, everything was delicious and wonderfully tasty. The chips and queso hit the spot. I was next able to mix and match tacos which included carne asada, carnitas and the el guero supreme. I think I found a new favorite tex mex spot in DC. El Bebe was everything I needed.

All of us at the National Association of Broadcasters love eating at El Bebe. The staff is awesome and the food is delicious. For the first time however, we used their catering services. What great service! Tee Mims, the event coordinator is wonderful! So responsive and efficient. We got everything arranged quickly. The food arrived on time and was as delicious as in the restaurant. Our guests loved it. Tee Mims came to our office when the food was delivered to be sure everything was out and ready to go for us. We would highly recommend El Bebe for dining in and now -- for their catering!

"El Bebe: Proof Heaven Exists, and It's Covered in Salsa"
Listen, as a Latina from Los Angeles, I’m picky about my Mexican food—like, side-eye-your-taco-truck picky. So Trust me bro, this place is a straight-up home run.
First, the huevos rancheros over chorizo. could revive a lifeless Zoom call. Then, the chorizo—smoky, spicy, and perfectly greasy—swoops in like the star of the show. 30 mins later, after a coffee , you can still taste it in your burps!
Next, the breakfast burrito. This beast was packed with potato, chorizo, and beans in a dance of textures and flavors that made me forget I was in DC and not East LA.
El Bebe is the spot that brings Mexican food to life on the East Coast. Friendly vibes, bold flavors, and a menu that slaps harder than your tía’s chancla. 10/10 and yes, I’m already planning my next visit. 😋

Great spot. The tecate and tequila special was well priced for $10. Food is good, but if you don't like spicy, then definitely recommend making sure you tell the waiter. The shrimp tacos were on point with flavor and level of spicy
