Everyone is nice but you will pay $7 for half a cup of coffee. They don’t prepare the keg correctly so it’s all foam. A complete waste of money and time. This is what is left when the foam goes down. There is only one location in the city that knows how to prepare the draft lattes.

Good coffee shop, no complaints
Delicious coffee whether you want coffee taste or like me flavor with a hint of coffee. You have options. I had the seasonal s’more draft and it was delicious. I’m returning again when I’m in DC. There cinnamon roll and cookie tasty too.

I don’t normally leave bad reviews for places, but I went out of my way to get a strawberry matcha and ham and cheese croissant. They ran out of matcha, so I waited while they made more. Had to repeat myself multiple times as the barista made my drink ten minutes later. Tried it as I left, no strawberry, but went on. Made the half mile walk home, and the person who served me did not give me the croissant I asked for. I paid $18 for everything I didn’t want. Won’t be returning to this location. Clearly, they don’t listen to what the customer is asking for, and I will be double checking everything I buy from now on because I can’t trust them to give me what I asked for.

$7.50 for a croissant and they can’t warm it.

I love grabbing coffee especially with friends but the last time I went here it did not feel very warm and welcoming. The staff felt cold and maybe they were having a bad day or something but it just felt like they were annoyed that we were ordering. My coffee tasted a bit burnt and I needed to add more milk and sugar to make it taste a little better. I would give this place another try sometime just in case they were having an off day but for now they get 3 stars.

Weird being in a sporting good store lol. We walked in and were confused but it's too the far left. Cappuccino with vanilla was good and finished with a cold croissant. No oven mic

The worst service I’ve ever had. It wasn’t even busy and it feels like you’re being rushed to order. I got the special oat nog latte they’re featuring and there was no welcome greeting when taking my order. Then when I went back to pickup my order I asked if it was my order and she said “oat nog latte” and rolled her eyes as she walked off. The latte is okay but it doesn’t make up for the lack of hospitable service. This was my first time here and I won’t be back.

They never make my coffee order right and it’s a vanilla latte… how do you forget the vanilla every other day. Also, they are so rude and never friendly it’s my closest coffee shop and but i will go out of my way to never go back. Specifically the white woman with the neck length hair that was working this morning is very unpleasant everyday if you see her run the other way.

Coffee was cold and tasted average. The Canelé is a ripoff for $4 given the size and taste.

Great coffee shop with knowledgeable baristas. Great place that meets my needs for quality specialty coffee as well as my wife’s love of creative lattes. Emerald makes the best cortado in DC.
Good coffee. Chocolate muffin was excellent
