Love the food, hate the prices! I ordered $7 yuca fries to go and got a box that was barely a quarter full. I understand food costs are high, but this felt like a complete rip-off.
This was my second takeout order, and the first time the $6 black beans were mostly bean water. I really wanted to give this place another chance, but after this, I wonβt be returning.

Let me say, cooking is an Art, itβs the entire experience which is a lasting impression. The freshness and appearance of the food was excellent.
I know it can get a bit busy during peak hours when food is being prepared.
Again, itβs the entire customer service experience and a real conversation to see if any adjustments need to be made which is reasonable.

Juicy chicken, huge portions, cheap price. The whole chicken feeds 3-4 people.

Chop Shop is a cool little Peruvian chicken place inside an old auto repair garage. This place is amazing with phenomenal food and flavor. There is one table, and plenty of space inside of the bar next door to eat, with the option to grab-n-go. The vibe is really cool, and the chicken and yuca are great. The flavor of the food is consistent, with excellent customer service. The Panang chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious, full flavored with a hot kick, and the Thai sandwich is really good with a good amount of spice. The rotisserie half chicken was just OK, a bit bland and reheated in a microwave. Prices are reasonable for DC.
