In remembrance of La Jolie Bleue (which I am very sad to see is now closed)... When I discovered La Jolie Bleue in May 2021, it quickly became my favorite cafe/bakery in the entire DMV area. The best baklava I have ever had in my life. Period. And I have had alot of baklava. The rose water, the honey, cinnamon, walnuts oh my goodness. It was beautiful. Can you believe I find the best baklava of my life the day they close their Georgetown location. What kind of tragic romance?!? I come here about once a month for the best baklava and almond cigars I've ever had. The savory foods are pretty decent but way overpriced. Coffee is ok. I just come for the honey flakey nutty treats.
