Lebanese Taverna in DC continues to be one of my favorite spots for consistently great food and exceptional service. The flavors are authentic, fresh, and beautifully presented from the creamy hummus and warm pita to the perfectly seasoned kebabs and mezze. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared and meant to be shared. What truly elevated this visit, though, was our waiter, Mustapha. He was outstanding. From the moment we sat down, he was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming....

We had a fantastic experience! Great food! Hummus and other dishes from the mezza portion of the menu were tasty. The best Mediterranean food we have ever had. Comfortable seating and interior decor thoughtfully designed.

This restaurant was recommended to me about 25 years ago but I've never been able to work it into one of many trips to DC. Finally was able to get there this weekend! The food was worth the wait, for sure. Everything was excellent. I had the lamb shank, which literally fell off the bone and was juicy and tender.
