Food was average, got a take out breakfast sandwich which was hard to go wrong on.
But service quality leaves so much more to be desired. Counter lady took 10-15 minutes to take my order, and was frantically shuffling between randon tasks like taking dine-in orders, refilling dine-in cups and even kitchen prep. No acknowledgement was given that my order was taken, and no transparency as to how the final price was calculated.
Would not eat here again.

i visited DC for two days and wanted a cozy informal breakfast that made me feel like i was in a typical american movie. i wanted the whole experience, hot waffles, loud clinging noises from the cutlery, coffee refills, good people. i can happily say that i got it all!!! the waffles were SO GOOD, and the guy that served me was very funny and sweet. i had such a great time and wish i could stay a bit more to revisit :)

Overpriced, menu items is just the food and no extra. They will charge you for coffee or even slice of bread And without any ask adding tips to the bills
The waffles are ok, not anything special but they aren't bad. The food doesn't really stand out but it's consistent. The staff is very nice and the seating is out dated but it's not uncomfortable or in distress. I recommend stopping by for the best priced breakfast in downtown DC.

The service was good but don’t get fooled to see low prices at the window. Each thing in your food will be extra charge. The toast will cost you 2 extra dollars. Each extra meat will cost $5 more. I liked the server but the final bill at almost $80 for 3 normal breakfasts is too much!
