i visited DC for two days and wanted a cozy informal breakfast that made me feel like i was in a typical american movie. i wanted the whole experience, hot waffles, loud clinging noises from the cutlery, coffee refills, good people. i can happily say that i got it all!!! the waffles were SO GOOD, and the guy that served me was very funny and sweet. i had such a great time and wish i could stay a bit more to revisit :)
Overpriced, menu items is just the food and no extra. They will charge you for coffee or even slice of bread

The waffles are ok, not anything special but they aren't bad. The food doesn't really stand out but it's consistent. The staff is very nice and the seating is out dated but it's not uncomfortable or in distress. I recommend stopping by for the best priced breakfast in downtown DC.
