Pretty good Detroit-style pizza — they clearly did their research and know what they’re doing. The pie is on the smaller side (four pieces), and I don’t think they’re using brick cheese. The crust had a few too many large air bubbles, which threw it off a bit. Instead of just saying “we’re the best,” I’d love to see them share what makes them the best: what cheese they use, how the sauce is made, what kind of flour and yeast go into the dough, and how long it’s...
Gave this place a shot after buying cupcakes and was absolutely delighted with the quality and selection of entrees. I ordered the pizza with the works and you can definitely taste the brick oven magic. We had the chance to sit outside in early August and people watch as we enjoyed lunch. I also highly recommend the Mortazza sandwich with a Lil beast lager. Little beast cafe is definitely worth checking out.
Little Beast Café & Bistro in Washington, DC delivers a deliciously satisfying lunch experience. My brother enjoyed the Fresh Lemonade, while I enjoyed the Blueberry Hibiscus Lemonade. The Shrimp Salad Roll stood out with its buttery, toasted brioche split top roll generously filled with dressed shrimp salad and garnished with dill, celery leaves, Old Bay, and lemon. It was served with tangy cornichon pickles that added the perfect crunch.
