Came here for dinner at 7pm on a steamy Monday evening in June. It's tucked away a little, so keep waking into the building complex, you'll find it. It wasn't busy in DC and this place wasn't busy this evening. The woman host ushed me to sit, so I sat at a high table. The design of this place is nice and look relatively new. It was clean and bright with a bar that is half inside and outside. There are quite a few menu options. She took my order quickly and it came out quickly. I ordered the Little Chicken Cobb Salad with fried chicken pieces. It was large and had perfect mix of dressing, bacon, onions, cheese and chicken. It was really good. $25 including tip.Great food, served quickly in a good location. I'd come back to try the fried chicken, 100%.~~ Jack ~~
I came here Monday night with some friends for a casual meal and we had a blast with Tyleaka at the bar! The mac and cheese was creamy and delicious (make sure to try it with the hot sauce), and our sandwiches were juicy and filling. The drinks also knocked it out of the park! Thanks Tyleaka!!
I am from the South, so fried chicken is a staple in my life. For me to say this was some of the best fried chicken I ever put in my mouth.....was an understatement! The chick was crispy when you bit into it and the meat would melt in your mouth! Highly, higly recommend this if you are in the DC area!
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in, easy out!
I ordered before and was blown away. Recently ordered (4/28/23) This was the worst experience ever! The complete order was incorrect, items missing. Fries were super dry and crispy. The sandwich was basically all mayonnaise. The prices are a rip off for portion size. I was really disappointed, wasted $90. I don’t see myself ordering from here again #reallydisappointed I really wish I could get a refund. I never been so disappointed
Parking: Not easily located
Food was delicious, so much to choose from and the sauces are all tasty. Highly recommend trying them all. Best of all, our server, Evan, was phenomenal - so helpful and friendly, she made our experience so much fun. Happy hour looks good too
Place and food were exceptionally dry.The chicken was very dry...Fries cold and drinks were just ok.Service was good though.
I love the atmosphere here! It’s a great place to drink with friends, and the chicken is top notch! Prices are really reasonable, and the bartender are great!
The fried chicken tenders were hot, crispy, and delicious! I loved the garlic crisp sauce and the corn bread was amazing, definitely want to go back!
I didn't have a great experience here. When you come in the front door the sign says to "seat yourself" & I didn't want to sit at a table in the middle of the restaurant or take up a big booth so I picked a seat for my friend and I at the communal table. One of the staff told me to move and that spot was only for "large parties" & he wasn't friendly about it either. It's fine if you want to regulate who sits where, but get a hostess then? Don't have a sign that says "seat yourself" if you don't want me to sit where I'd like to.Our server told us we couldn't have any choice between dark meat or light meat when ordering our chicken pieces & I thought this was really weird for a fried chicken spot. It's a common preference that *a lot* of people have & it's an easy way to keep your guest happy so why not offer it? Or at least have a whole chicken option. We mentioned this to another server at the end of our visit and he insisted we *could* in fact choose so it was mixed messaging. I saw him ask a few other servers and none of them seemed sure. The chicken was mediocre. I loved how crispy it was, but the batter was still wet under the crunch in more than a few places on my 3 pieces of chicken (which I didn't enjoy most of because 2/3 pieces were white meat that I wouldn't have chosen).I did not enjoy the macaroni and cheese. The pasta was incredibly mushy. It felt closer to a dumpling than a macaroni noodle. The cheese was best described as wet or liquidy? I imagine that was intentional, but paired with the dumpling noodle it was not an overwhelmingly pleasant dish. I did enjoy the flavor! That was a welcome distraction from the texture and odd presentation.I wouldn't recommend this place to others. I didn't mind the food being on the more expensive side - I expect that for a place in the middle of Midtown Center. I did mind that the food wasn't very good and the service did not match the bright, friendly, and fun décor of the restaurant.
I want to just Karen out, but I won't. I look forward to giving a revised review. I have ordered there twice but have yet to actually eat there. The first time I ordered there they ran out of tenders and just gave me random food instead (call to ask for refund and they refused). The second time was Christmas Eve and I placed a $91 order online, and the place was closed ( That should not be possible). I want a refund or my food. I look forward to speaking with a manager when they re-open. Merry Christmas too me.UPDATE: After almost two weeks of calling daily and the manager being "out for the day" I got a refund. Still havent spoken to the manager, but at least I got my money back. Still one star.

I found this place by accident and I am so glad I did. The food is excellent and the shop itself is very cute! Food came out quite fast, and was good enough that I went two nights in a row. Both servers I interacted with were very warm & welcoming. All the neon signs when you first walk in are so cute, too, if you're a fan of neon.
The place looks nice and the customer service is great! Unfortunately the food was made for those whose taste buds were compromised. I’m guessing they forgot to use seasoning. The crunch was the only thing right about the chicken. The bone in chicken and tenders taste like the oil that they were fried in. The “food” taste like an science experiment gone wrong. I wanted the dipping sauce to wake up the flavors hidden in the chicken but it didn’t. The sauce was just as bad as the food. Worst! Little Chicken should go to the drawing board and make better sauce so we don’t have to expose how terrible the chicken really is.
Little Chicken has great potential. Fun, hidden location off 15th St. Good outdoor space and a festive vibe … except for the horrible acoustics. It’s impossible to hear when there’s any type of crowd. The food is fine but needs a lot of improvement. The fried chicken is really greasy and the cole slaw is soggy and bland. They also serve disposable utensils for dine-in customers. Very wasteful and not a good dinner experience. That said, I really want them to succeed. They just need to step up their game another 50 percent. Fingers crossed!
The chicken sandwich was good. The chicken was thick and juicy. I wasn't impressed by the macaroni and cheese or the bean salad.
I give them credit, they can cook some fried chicken. When it comes to the meat being tender and juicy they did a good job. But in my honest opinion, there was no seasoning on the chicken. If you get the spicy that's pretty much the seasoning. The chicken tenders are very plain without sauce on them. The drinks were good, especially the pineapple mint. But the waffle fries are hard. The mac and cheese was hella good and I was actually surprised by that.
