Tried the cat fish and alot of the small plates and everything was excellent. Did not order the chicken but the table next to us did and it looked great. Excited to go back and try it.
Great neighborhood spot with wonderful staff! Highly recommend the tostone doubles, spicy awaze galbi ribs, and jollof risotto. Will have to go back for the jerk pork tenderloin. Don't miss!

I noticed this place driving to a basketball game and decided to check it out. It was a very good decision. I enjoyed my meal and the customer service was awesome as well. I highly recommend if in the area.

My friends and I had an amazing experience at Almeda. Easily the best meal we've had in DC this year. Everything feels and tastes like an elevated home cooked meal. The food is gorgeous, hot, flavorful, textured, and thoughtful. As full as we were when we left, we were already discussing when we'd be able to make plans to come back. Congratulations to Chef Danielle and her small but mighty team!
Had a wonderful dinner with friends! The dishes and flavors were unique and beautifully presented. The chef stopped by our table at the end to ask our favorites, it was a lovely interaction. The restaurant itself is really small and intimate, makes conversing with friends so easy. We didn't get cocktails but will definitely be back to try those and more dishes next time!

Food was so good our second time going we finally got to try the chicken and that was soooooo good. It was crispy and juicy and the yum yum sauce made it perfect. The potatoes were cooked to perfection and so were the green beens. The drinks are delicious and unique and the brownie was my favorite and the coconut cake was my girlfriends favorite 10/10

Best take on the ham and egg breakfast sandwich I have ever experienced, and I've experienced plenty. Light, delicious, creamy. Their chocolate croissant is also mind-blowingly delicious. It's a featherweight puff pastry, not a true croissant, but really really good.

Almeda is a welcome addition to Petworth. The service is warm, friendly, and prompt. Small but wonderfully curated menu of food and beverage options. The food is delicious. Some items vary from what you might be used to, but the staff does an amazing job of explaining it. The rib wraps are a crave-worthy must!
We received a warm welcome when we came in. The menu included some nice call backs to familiar dishes, like fish and spaghetti, and a play on dishes I've come to know and love in my adulthood like the Jollof Risotto. The portion sizes are just right, the Risotto was generous in fact. Do not pass up the dessert. The pound cake reminded me of my Auntie's, but the drizzle of cream over top, shards of raspberry chocolate, and moat of toasted coconut surrounding the mini Bundt take it to another level. I plan to go back to try other dishes for sure!!

Creative dishes. Flavorful & eye appetizing. Waitress/Bartender crafts delicious cocktails, & can give you solid knowledge on their natural wine selection. Menu is concise tight as is the adult beverage selections. GO & GO AGAIN!
Food was good staff was good my favorite thing was the brownie and coconut cake dessert and the catfish this place is a 10/10 also the drinks are really really good me and my girlfriend had a great time and will be back to try the chicken!

Every bite we tasted was exceptional. This is something I've rarely said. The rib lettuce wrap was flavor after flavor layer. The jerk pork lion was tender, juicy and the jerk spice was warm without being too sweet or too spicy. The catfish had a delightful crust (the spaghetti is forgettable but was tasty). Both desserts were amazing, the brownie bar just got better with every bite and the coconut crunch cake was a pure whimsical delight.
