Dude at the register was extremely rude. Do not recommend. Hopefully this place shuts down soon, there wasn't anybody in there. Also, seeing roaches in previous reviews tells you all you need to know about this place. Avoid!!!

i had been wanting to try out llama bar for some time now and it did not disappoint. there was some kind of event so there was a huge crowd but still service was impeccable. Heaven was only worker behind the bar and she was an absolute gem, all my food and drinks came out quick and she was so friendly and sweet the entire time.
the vibes were fun and lively, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding thanks to Heaven! make sure to tip when you go because she seemed to be running the whole place by herself! will DEFINITELY be returning with friends!

Great space to work ot relax at. Lots of tables and outlets (and clean restrooms). Wifi included. Drinks are so good with different and creative varieties. I got a banana cream top matcha - which is usually hard to find in DC. Prices are decent. The steak and chimichurri sandwich was a little salty. Workers are great and very friendly

Just stumbled upon this cafe and absolutely love! The interior is stunning, cozy and well lit. The nicest coffee shop vibe in Navy Yard. I love how much space there is too. I ordered the banana matcha and some sort of apple pastry, both delicious. Definitely will be back!

I really like this new coffee spot! It's cute and quaint but a great option for remote work. Their staff is very friendly and I really enjoyed my ice mocha drink. I will give this place a 10 out of 10 and I will definitely be visiting again.

I stopped by Llama Bar on a Saturday after hearing about their fun day-party vibe and it definitely lived up to the hype! The energy was great from the moment I walked in. There was a DJ playing, a lively crowd, and even photographers snapping photos, which made the atmosphere feel vibrant and social (and I’ll never turn down a good photo op!).
They offered a great mix of food, cocktails, coffee, and matcha, so it works whether you’re looking for a light brunch or a more social afternoon. I ordered the strawberry matcha, which was a little sweet for my taste but still delicious and refreshing. For food, I tried the avocado toast with crab cake, which came with a small side salad — very fresh, and a great portion for the price.
The staff was incredibly friendly and hardworking, but my only complaint was that service felt a bit slow. It seemed like they were slightly understaffed for the size of the crowd, so things like clearing tables and bar cleanup took a little longer than expected. I did notice on their website that they’re currently hiring, so I’m sure that will improve soon.
Overall, Llama Bar is a great spot to grab a bite, sip something good, and enjoy the music and energy especially if you’re solo and want a fun, social vibe. I’ll definitely be back!

First and last time coming here. Cashier with the green hair was rude while taking my order then she walked off while I was still ordering. Horrible customer service.
The food is delicious but the service is extraordinarily slow every time I’ve been here. The first few times I was eating in and in no rush so it wasn’t a big deal, though there were close to no customers so strange. This latest time, I placed a pickup order and waited over 40 minutes. I stood in front of the counter for a good 20 minutes and was ignored. When my food was finally ready 40 minutes after placing said order, it sat there for 5 minutes. No apology.
It’s also quite pricey for a fast casual concept.
I love supporting small businesses but I don’t plan to return.

Our new favorite cafe in navy yard. Breakfast options are great and coffee drinks even better! Order the spicy breakfast sandwich and you won’t be disappointed!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. As someone who lives in the area of many cafes and coffee shops, llamabar is my go to and never disappoints. Justin and Heaven are absolutely awesome, they take the time to get to know you by name and your order, needless to say service is 10/10. The food is always fresh and the menu has such a good selection. Steak and Eggs or the Salmon BLT are my favorites. You cannot go wrong with any drink on the menu but I know my strawberry and cream latte is made with effort and care every single time.

Ordered the super spicy breakfast sandwich and an iced coffee. Food and coffee both took nearly 20 mins, cafe was sparsely full. Sandwich came with potatoes with were cold. Server was sweet, she took it back and heated them up. But came out lukewarm still. No salt. Breakfast sandwich had ok flavor but the bread is stale. Did not finish. Coffee is nothing home to write about. Cute vibe but food not worth the $18.
