They charged me too twice . I was by myself I got 1 sopa de tortilla 1 fajita de 29.99 and 2 strawberry’s margaritas and the total was $83 but she told me it was $95 at the end I paid $113 which is double tip. That is fraudulent and the food wasn’t that good either…….
Rats in the ceiling tiles, debris falls into your drink when the rats run around in the ceiling above the bar
This is possibly the worst Mexican restaurant experience I have ever had. We asked for Dr pepper and he brought us cans and cups separate. That cost $13 for 3 cans of sodas. We also ordered beef empaneda and when cut open there was no meat in it at all. The chicken tenders were bad and the fries were gross. So yeah I rate it 1 star.

Came here 4 years ago, it was great. Came here last week, and it was terrible. Service is next to nothing, and the food left us with stomach aches for the rest of the evening.

I cannot believe I was served my food the way it was. The rice tasted like box rice & the cheese wasn’t even melted in the burrito bowl nor the burrito when I requested for the change. My food was very dry. Where is the love and the sauce? Maybe i’m spoiled with Mexican food elsewhere but this food WAS NOT IT. Worst $20 spent.

It is wrong to automatically add a 20% tip on a party of 2. This restaurant use to be good but service is not great and the cleanliness of the restaurant is questionable..

Food was okay - nothing special. But what shocked me was how the restaurant overcharged me and added a huge service charge on top of my bill. When I asked the waitress, she was not helpful and actually extremely rude. It is false advertising to have one price on the menu and charge your customers a totally different price. Won’t be returning.

Food was burnt. Chips were stale. It took more than an hour to get our food for four and eat, and there was only one other table. My son asked for quarters from his dollar for the gumball machine, and they only had 3 quarters, so she short changed him. Food was below average.

With the loss of El Centro in Georgetown there is a big need for good Mexican food and margaritas. This place is not filling that need at all. As in not at all.

Our first option for the night fell through so we grudgingly went to Los Cuates as it was close by despite the run down appearance and mediocre reviews. Had that been the worst we would experience…. We could tell our waitress was off when she came to our table twice to take our order. The food came out in a reasonable time and was about as expected. Nothing great, but not terrible. I would give the place 3 stars based on food but the service and atmosphere ruins it. When it came time to pay the bill we thought the total sounded high so we asked for an itemized receipt. Three of the items we ordered we were overcharged for. And a 20% tip had been unknowingly been added and we were prompted for a second tip. When we asked the waitress she blamed the computer for the errors. We explained that we expected to pay the prices on the menu and asked for the bill to be corrected so she hesitantly got the manager. He agreed we had been overcharged after having to prove the error to him. This awkward situation took over 5 minutes to resolve. That said I would recommend finding anywhere else to spend your evening as we suspect this is their usual mode of operation.
Delicious food and great service! Happy hour margs and sangria for only $7! Great vegetarian options too! The house chips and salsa were delicious as was the queso we added! The medium salsa was the absolute best!! Manuel was our server and he was attentive and kind! Old town favorite for sure!
