Love this place. Best Mexican I've had in DC!
Said it was open online on 08/31/25 and it was closed. We went at 1pm. No sign or notice posted outside to indicate it was closed. One worker outside stated it was closed
I typically order takeout from here a few times a year after my hair appointments. The grilled chicken molcajete portion was rather small this time, with only a single, thin piece of chicken and a small scoop of beans and rice. The extra side of nopales I ordered was also smaller than usual..

I ordered the torta Hawaiiana and I can’t think of any flaw with it. Colorful atmosphere, good music, and friendly servers, I’m looking forward to my next visit.
Delicious and authentic! I ordered the asada sopes which had hand made sopes, beans reminiscent of home, Mexican crema and cheese with salsa de chile de arbol. My husband ordered the torta Hawaiiana which he loved. We will definitely come back!
This place was absolutely great the food five star.Hand made soft taco ,large portions I haven't had such good Mexican food since Mexico.
Perfect place and not too expensive like other restaurants,
Super friendly staff and lively atmosphere. The staff took a little while to attend to us though.
Food was ok. Everything was delayed. Wasn't given any water or the drinks we ordered. Then we got our food, which was cold. I started eating, and was done before they could bring anything to drink.
Host/server looked exasperated when we wanted to sit outside; the place was completely empty. He brought me an order of a vegetarian bean burrito without any beans in it, and then didn’t believe me when I told him there were no beans in it. Then brought me the tiniest cup of bean sauce with four or five beans in it in apology. Somehow this meal of a sad burrito and three tacos cost $34 before tip.

What’s the point of having business hours if you’re just going to open whenever you feel like it? I called multiple times to place a pickup order—no answer. I walked over at 11:40 AM, only to find that the only worker there was late, and not a single thing was prepped 40 minutes after the supposed opening time. Unbelievable. Great way to keep a customer base!

For only having one other person in the restaurant the service was terrible and they kept messing up our order by not bringing the right food or completely forgetting that we ordered it when asked multiple times. The guac was good but price will vary, the carne asada tacos were average with not much flavor and a bit dry. Though the quesabirria was really good.

I have reservation and the time I get there I don’t have a server, I have to get up and ask the person in the bar if anyone can help us with the drinks, he took the server 15 minutes to greet us and ask if we need more time we told him that we ready for order our food and drinks.
So we wait for 25 minutes for the drinks
And one hour for our food.
The food was terrible!!!
The food is not the same like the menu.
We so disappointed with everything.

No flavor at all! This place is not Mexican… burrito barely had meat! They definitely have to improve their dishes! Not even the beans have flavor! You don't have cheese with chips!, terrible! They never came to ask if we needed anything, or if we were going to order.. if I could I would give them 0
