A friend and I went with Omakase and sides of hot sake. Service was lovely and quick for the time we went (5:30 pm, Tuesday).
My friend has a fish allergy and asked if the chef could opt for replacing all fish with another protein like shellfish. They gave her mostly the vegetarian option. •Our problem with this is it costs significantly more to buy and prepare fish than it is with mushrooms and bell peppers, yet the vegetarian option costs the same amount as eating...

Delightful. On point for flavor, ambience, and service. First time meeting hostess Robin, and she was lovely. Sat at the bar, and our bartender/server was great. We've had the dinner omakase before, but this was our first time with the lunch experience. As a Californio, I loved the whispers of home infused throughout the meal. It's tough to make it into the city for Dear Sushi as much as we'd like as we're an hour away, but we'll be back.

My lunch was absolutely amazing! Robin and Marvin made sure I was completely taken care of from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out the door!

The omakase is always fresh and delicious!
