Hours are negotiable! We had made plans to go here after a concert and when we showed up the doors were locked. I called and they said they were closed because they decided it was slow. It was 2 HOURS before close! So don’t make plans to go here because who knows if they will actually decide to be open.
another delightful and delicious experience at lucy - where I don’t know what’s better: the food, the drinks, or the people. thank you as always!

Went for a little happy hour moment and ended up grabbing food as well! Happy hour is such a cozy vibe and a really intimate spot to catch up with a friend or have a lovely date night. The mushroom pizza was absolutely delicious, the crust is really to die for. Got the bruschetta as well and was not expecting three different types (I may just be bad at reading) but it was also a really unique experience. Service was a little slow, (not the fault of our server at all but it seemed like they were a bit understaffed). The aperol spritz was delicious and I would definitely come back for their jazz nights.

Unpretentious and simple, but consistently very good. Service is exceptionally friendly, pasta and pizza are excellent, atmosphere is great. Pasta portions can be a bit on the smaller side, but are priced accordingly. I'm always happy to come back!

OUTSTANDING gluten free pizza. I’ve never had a gluten free crust this close to the real thing. The crust was fluffy, chewy, and stretchy like real quality pizza. Plus the toppings themselves are so delicious and fresh - the confit tomatoes were incredible. Also had delicious cocktails. It makes a great date night spot.
Dietary restrictions: All pizzas can be made gluten free, costs $4 more. No gluten free pasta to my knowledge.

I visited LucyBar DC today (December 6, 2024) with a dinner partner, and I was deeply disappointed by the quality and flavor of the dishes. We ordered the chicken cacciatore "gnocchi," which bore no resemblance to either gnocchi or chicken cacciatore. Even more troubling, it tasted like congealed, expired microwaveable Thanksgiving turkey and gravy. The texture of the gnocchi was undercooked and doughy, while the chicken was reduced to a paste-like form, smothered in congealed gravy. This dish was borderline inedible—I simply could not eat it.
The "famous" fettuccine pasta was equally disappointing. It was completely tasteless, paired with burnt zucchini, and required an excessive amount of seasoning just to make it palatable. For the premium price we paid, the overall experience was appalling. I will never return to this establishment, nor would I recommend it to anyone—not even my worst enemy.

Came here on a Saturday night after a show at the Lincoln theater. It wasn’t too crowded at all so we got a spot at the bar quickly. Bartenders were friendly. I got a delicious cocktail with rum and passion fruit juice. I liked the cozy atmosphere inside the bar, it was easy to talk and have a conversation. I plan to come back and try this homemade pasta soon!

Lucy bar is such a cute spot for a date night or girls happy hour! The lighting, decor, and jazz are fabulous. I had the Monalizza, prosciutto appetizer to eat, and the pursuit of passion to drink. All the food was amazing and the service was great as well! Definitely recommend
