Went to Slice & Pie in DC recently and had a bit of a mixed experience. The pizza itself was decent, with a good crust and fresh toppings. However, it wasn't quite what I ordered. There were a few missing ingredients, and the overall preparation wasn't exactly as described.Even if it had been true to the menu, I wouldn't rate it as exceptional. Amazing business, great people. We were lost in DC and found solace in this little shop, so happy we found it when we did! Definitely give it a visit, eat their food!! The owner and her boyfriend are so so kind, they were willing to help us look for our car that night as well. They don’t throw out their leftover food either, they gave it to people less fortunate once the shop closed up. I’d love to visit them at under different circumstances haha.
