Me and my friends are here in DC for a weekend’s fun and was so happy to find this hidden gem!!! We ordered all their house special lattes, the two lavender signature/ lavish and the pistachio latte, they all tasted so amazing. Probably the best latte I’ve ever had in my life. I’ll be missing it so much.😭😭💜💕💚 The barista offered each of us a free chocolate brownie sample and it was absolutely heavenly delicious!!!!! Atmospheres also amazing, the ac is also comfortably chilling. Lulu isn’t here today…but there are pictures of Lulu all around the cafe! So super cute. Loved this place💗💗💗

Great place for a coffee or quick bite to eat in downtown DC with a cute off-street patio and friendly service from the barista Sakiynah, the pistachio latte really stands out but it's tough to go wrong

I loved Lulu's Cafe. I came here after a doctor's appointment to get some work done. Their latte was a bit too sweet, but still delicious. However, the star of the show was most definitely the pistachio croissant. I could eat many more of them, one of the tastiest pastries I have had in DC.
Overall, the staff was a extremely nice and welcoming. A nice spot to get some work done, hang with friends, chill on your laptop, have some coffee. I felt relaxed here.

Great coffee shop with beautiful art, and a nice back patio for sunny days. The specialty lattes are delicious, as are the pastries. It's never crowded, and has plenty of seating for casual meetings or getting some work done.

Coffee has gone downhill unfortunately, the barista that works there most of the time is rude, made me feel unwelcome due to her disdain of the owner and the pistachio latte she made me tasted terrible. Prices are literally different on each menu. No consistency in hours and products .

Place was beautiful, super cute. The coffee was great! The service was okay, the lady seemed like she didn’t want to work at all or was having a terrible day. I read other reviews and concluded its definitely her 😂 lots of people complained about the same. If you can get past her and her attitude, coffee is worth it, they have a bar height area towards the window overlooking the street that’s very nice and a hidden patio inside.

I love this coffee gem! I usually stop by a couple of times during the week & Sakiynah takes care of me most of the time. Her energy is great and always welcoming. Plus, her music taste is great ! It’s always a vibe here! Great coffee, tea & snacks. Definitely a favorite.

Very cool space. Beautiful patio, decor, wares.
I was charged $9.90 for a smoothie that the menu said was $5/$6. Maybe the menu prices need to be updated.
Employee didn’t say a word the entire time I was there, but her demeanor was generally unwelcoming. I didn’t feel like questioning the charge.
Would give this spot another shot, with different staff but not for smoothies. Maybe the coffee is better?

This was the perfect post-People's March spot... The company was incredible, friendly welcoming vibes, and the signature latte was just divine. I loved the art/decor and was was so hyped to meet Lulu! 🐶 Was the absolute cutest. I was told the meat IS halal, and look fwd to trying the beef patties next time. I was also thrilled to see the little gift section that sold unique items that aren't easy to find around DC. Beautiful tatreez bag straps, lovely candles, Palestinian olive oil, and even the Dubai pistachio chocolate! I don't even know where else in DC you'd be able to find. Will be back for sure!
Dietary restrictions: They offer Halal meat!

It had a cute ambience with the nice seating and back patio with a nice mural, and also if you’re 20 and ill-informed about international affairs. The staff was completely rude and unhelpful. I asked if I could have my hot tea cup filled with less water because it was such a large cup for 1 tea bag and she muttered under her breath and filled it to the point of spilling. I will never return here. Good luck keeping customers with that attitude
