Saya Salteña is a very nice place for a quick lunch. The space is not large but very clean, with walls colorfully decorated and authentic music that is not too loud. Windows look out on tulip magnolia trees in a small park across the street. The service is welcoming, quick, and attentive. The specialty is salteñas, pastries filled with soup. The dough has a nice crisp bite on the outside, paired with well-seasoned soup on the inside. The spicy beef and spicy chicken salteñas are extremely messy but worth it, bursting with flavor. Another interesting dish, a peanut soup, is delicious. The best salteñas outside La Paz, Bolivia, they are a true gem for anyone craving authentic Bolivian cuisine. A great find, highly recommended.
