Jamar, I worked for you, and I’m still waiting on you to pay me. This is not right at all. I will be coming to the restaurant today, unless you send my money. The full amount. The 1 star, is just so I can post this up on the internet. It’s still up.
LuvPlates- I was greeted when I walked in, and no wait! The man at the counter explained the menu to me, and I decided on the fall off the bone plate. It came with ribs, 2 sides (mac & cheese and greens), and red beans and rice. The food was delicious and plentiful. The only thing I didn't like was too much sauce on the ribs and the ribs on top of my rice. There are no issues with the quality of the food. The greens were some of the best I have ever had in a restaurant. The ribs truly were fall off the bone tender!! Kudos to the cook/chef!! Unfortunately, I don't live in the area, but I will recommend this place to those that do live here.

Very tasty and seasoned well... However I am disappointed in the quantity of food for the price paid. My family was satisfied with the taste. But not the portions. Sadly they didn't have gumbo which is what I really wanted and they neglected to tell us they didn't have any red beans and rice until we arrived. They were kind enough to give my son an extra side because he's an airmen and they didn't have the beans and rice.

FIRST TIME GOING: I tried the jerk wings with the jasmine rice and a side of greens.The wing meat falls off the bone. The rice picks up the jerk flavoring beautifully and is light and not starchy. The wings were nicely proportioned and meaty too. You won't feel that you are not getting enough.The greens (their "mamas greens") are really done well ?. Nicely flavored in a beautiful brown pot liquor (that you will want to drink -- like I did -- after you finish the greens). The greens have just the correct texture with no hard stems. They melt in your mouth but are not mushy at all... You won't find a better bowl of collards.Overall the food I had was packed with flavors, filling and not swimming in fat or overly greasy. I'm glad I tried this place and will return to try other menu options. I'm impressed ??

The jerk chicken is bomb! It's old school jerk, not that BBQ jerk. Keep these brothers in business and go try it out! The greens must be good too because they ran out. I will definitely go back.

Live near here never knowing the greatness in food and service so close to me... looked online for a place with good soul food near me and found GREAT SOUTHERN STYLE SOUL FOOD at Luv Plates. The pictures of the food looked amazing, but the food taste 10x better than what the photos look like. Great customer service and great food is a win win... I promise you will love every bite u take.

LuvPlates Soul and Grill nailed it again for our department holiday party! They flawlessly catered for 60 guests with an incredible spread. From the succulent holiday turkey and delightful pan seared salmon to the heavenly honey baked ham and comforting mac & cheese, every dish was a hit.Their veggie options were stellar, especially the vegan stir fry. The desserts, including assorted cookies and apple pie, were a sweet delight.This isn't our first time working with them, and once again, their professionalism shone through. A solid 10/10! Highly recommended for any event.
